I'm glad you feel it's worth it. I picked up True Colors and this remastered package for $30. True Colors is the only game in the series I haven't played yet, but I decided to start with the remastered set to revisit Arcadia Bay and get fully immersed in the world before playing True Colors. Despite some minor concerns in the first chapter of remastered, including an odd menu glitch, I'm reassured by this video that I'll enjoy my time playing through this gem once more.

I haven't played this game in 9 years (basically release) and I noticed right away you were swapping between new and old footage for the first half without saying it. kinda insane how such a subtle difference can change the look and feel.

And I definitely think you should! Since it seems like you're a big fan. You'll definitely get value out of a replay, but I'd be lying if I said I it was exactly like playing it for the first time. That *feeling* is so hard to replicate. Like the utmost shock during Kate's Scene or the emotional turmoil on the final question. Since I remembered all the BIG moments. There wasn't that crazy ride experience again. That's expected though. Haha! It HAS been 7 years. 😆 Other games have come out that have great stories. TL;DR Go play it!! It was still really fun to revisit. And reminded me why I loved it so much in the first place!!

That Shade on Keyna.... well deserved unfortunatly XD. The differences of the graphic between the 2015 version and 2022 where noticable.... buuuuut in a very subltel way so you know. Never played Life is Strange... except the Demo on PC so i might get this remastered Collection on PS5 just to experiance the story with... slight updated visuals :D

i’ve only ever watched someone play it when it first came out, i never got to play it myself, so honestly i feel like for a rebuy it definitely isn’t worth it but if it’s on sale for a new player, go for it honestly

Enjoyable review. I played the game for the first time on PS5 Remastered. There were a few glitches but nothing like Cyberpunk bad. I actually had worse with BtS. In the bonus episode Farewell, Max became a pink blob in the Attic. Seems like they've fixed them now though. I do hope you review the Prequel at some point. For me there were a few plot inconsistencies, Chloe being told Pompedius name doesn't make sense and the focus switching half way through from Chloe to Rachel didnt work for me but otherwise it was ok. While the bonus episode is a real gut punch on the 1st game level. I'd be interested in your thoughts on it.

Aww thank you for your kind words! Yes, you are 100% correct. Not Cyberpunk bad. Nothing game breaking, but definitely took me out of the moment. 😅 I do plan on making LiS:BTS Remastered! However a lil game called Horizon Forbidden West comes out soon... 👀😉

Life is Strange 2 is my favorite! For some reason, the LiS community on a whole doesn't like it as much as the others. Not sure why! I really loved the idea of being the one without powers and how the final ending is somewhat out of your hands. So it lead to a lot of tension of "what's really going to happen" but I think most didn't like that angle. Regardless, I'm glad you're going back to the first one! LiS isn't perfect by any means, but it does have a very special place in my heart and it gets - well - the strangest. Which I really appreciate. Hahaha. So I hope you enjoy it! Let me know what you think! 😀 I'm honestly really curious how someone likes it from a more modern perspective ie. no nostalgia goggles.

I always wanted to go back and replay the first game anyway, because yes I did sacrifice everyone to die for her friend at the end of the game and wasn't able to save Kate either soooo yeah.... I'm thinking of making different choices this time for a second playthrough 🤔 I mean, the bundle for life is strange true colors was on sale so I ended get it anyways since it comes packed with the remaster collection, so yeah I might as well play it. And yeah... It was kinda buggy.... I started with life is strange before the storm and man it had quite a bit of graphic bugs and cutscenes with the characters stuck in t-posing while they were talking... So then I was like ehhh I'm going to wait a couple more months for them to patch it out, and now I'm pretty sure it's smooth sailing by now so I played through life is strange 1 and had pretty good time with it again 🤷
