I'm pretty sure she's either the Pyro Archon or a Pyro character closely associated with the Archon. Every region so far has that one character in a position of authority with an element that matches their Archon. Mondstadt has Jean, Liyue has Ningguang, Inazuma, an argument could be made for either Kujo Sara or Yae Miko, Sumeru has Alhaitham (even though he only had the position temporarily), and Fontaine has Neuvillette (though you could also argue Furina fits this post-Archon quest).

my guess is that Mavuika's true form is the phoenix, perhaps being the same phoenix described in Mare Jivari because basically all the archons so far have ended up being elemental creatures at their elemental peak and what would embody more fire than a phoenix? Venti was a wind spirit, Zhongli a golden dragon, Raiden a thunder yokai, Nahida a dryad, Furina a mermaid it is also not strange for the successor archon to look like his predecessor

Okay here is my thing the design at her thigh at 1:01 that kinda look like pyro abyss lector : Fathomless Flames and on her back under her hair there is the same design (which at first I thought was a vision maybe it is a vision but different design like Furina or Kaeya), her dress her style doesn't give me archon vibe (but hey it's hoyo) plus the ID of pyro archon is very secretive from the beginning more than Natlan which is also kept very secret I don't think they will show the archon this early she kinda looks like kaveh though or this the same case as venessa but maybe she is the archon I mean she is kinda expressive like pyro slime , I might be wrong plus at 5:00 to 5:25 there is a faint heart beat which happens when there is low health which means that person is alive but weakened and recharging also Imagine if capitano reveal his face as varka and says "it was me Venti". For fontaine Focalors was still alive while Furina was acting as her, so if they use the same trope(archon being alive with a fake archon representing them) then that would be pretty bad imo since it would be the same trope.

But it probably has a reason why they are using that trope, something fate related, and they can't change that in the middle of the game. What it reveals is that there can be countless archons that are simply forgotten in time and that we have no idea who they were because Irminsul simply overwrote them to being someone else. I mean Furina is how Focalors would imagine herself as a human. No that is not what is happening with Nahida they are merging together into one person. Ei is trying to learn what Makoto understood about eternity that Ei don't in order to rule Inazuma. I don't exactly know why the archons were fractured but I am guessing it has to do with everything else that was fractured like the moon sisters, the sun. So probably the disaster in Khaenri'ah

However, Irminsul does not change reality, it only changes memories. So no, Nahida didn't become Rukkhadevata, she just became the dendro archon since forever because Rukkhadevata never existed.

The whole point of the archon quest is that Sumeru was basically never going to move forward (Them not accepting Rukkhadevatas death, isolating Nahida because she would never live up to Rukkhadevata, Her own people not even believing in her, etc) unless Rukkhadevatas existence was forgetten and instead have her stories replaced with Nahida in it. Everything Rukkhadevata has done is still her doing and not anyone elses because shes a separate being its just Nahida that Irminsul planted into peoples memories.

No I think she's the Archon. And that she'll die. And that in her death, we'll resurrect Xbalanque. Now (allegedly) we might not get the Pyro MC in 5.0 which might might might mean that by resurrection Xbalanque, the Pyro Sovereign, we then get the power to resurrect Mavuika. ORRRRRRRRRRRRR she isn't the Archon at the start, the real Archon dies in real time, and then Mavuika ASCENDS. We've never *seen* a character ascend to Archonhood before, we've only seen 3 characters receive visions in real time so far.

I think Mavuika is the Pyro Archon. What I think Maybe happened. Is the Pyro Archon we were expecting died sometime after the Khaenri’ah incident. And she was suppose to resurrect like a Phoenix. But something went wrong and Mavuika was needed to be the next Archon. To find out how to revive her. Hence, why we have the Natlan long chapter referencing resurrection. That’s how they can get Away with her being the Archon but also get her to step down. There is also a possibility Mavuika isn’t reviving their previous Archon. But the Pyro Dragon Sovereign of their nation. OR the more likely scenario, it’s something else that’s so simple we just aren’t thinking of it. Probably due to us making theories based on the reference material, and taking things as literally what HoYoverse will do. And not taking into consideration the creative standpoint HoYoverse will take with it. Either way It’s gonna be interesting. Cause there’s so much support for Mavuika being the Archon with the name play, the design, of her hair, the fact the name Murata is a reference to Himeko from Honkai impact 3rd and Mavuika and Himeko do share some similarities even if it’s very superficial. The thing with HoYoverse. They have made Honkai Impact 3rd references. But it’s very subtle that, unless you played the game, you wouldn’t notice. Like how Ei kind of looks like Raiden Mei. Or how the sustainer/unknown god looks like the Herscher of the Void. Particularly with the eyes. And Mavuika’s eyes are so unique that it only makes sense she’s the God. Cause not many non-Archon’s have unique eyes like that. The only non-Archons to have unique eyes that I can think of are- Hu Tao and recently Neuvilette. Because generally, every characters eyes usually follow the same formula. Some have a slight variation, but it’s more or less the same. Just one point I think I need to touch on because I’ve seen it floating around . I know people have used her clothing to debunk She’s the Archon. The thing is though it’s so unique and different from the usual that it can also be used to support The fact she’s the Archon. With the books with the conversation, Venti had with Vanessa. There is some evidence to support Mavuika’s personality not matching with what we’ve been told. But that doesn’t automatically mean she’s like that. Look at the Shogun puppet, the puppet is cold and unfeeling. Unwavering in its conviction to preserve what Ei believed to be eternity. While Ei is that, but she’s a lot more to her personality. And we also have to consider Venti just may not have a good opinion of the pyro Archon. Similar to how Zhongli and Ei don’t seem to have a good opinion of Venti. With Zhongli calling Venti a drunker who’s a disgrace to the arts. And Ei saying from the first time She met him, She had a feeling that we weren’t going to get along. Something to keep in mind, in most cases. We get the Archon around the 5.2 patch. Venti was in 1.0. Zhongli was litterally the patch after that in 1.1. Raiden was in patch 2.1, Nahida was in patch 3.2 and Furina was in 4.2 (even though she’s not the archon per day, she represent Focalar’s humanity and what she wanted to be. Before Egeria had for force Focalor to solve the issue with the prophecy). Moving on point is if Mavuika is released between 5.1 and 5.2. She’s more than likely the current Archon. I’m aware there was a rumour of some kinda speculation on who’s coming and Mavuika wasn’t mentioned for the earlier patches. But it doesn’t automatically mean she won’t be there considering 5.0 hasn’t even come out yet it’s still early to tell who’s coming when. But believe me once 5.0 drops I think will probably have a much more clearer idea on who’s coming when.

Since Natlan has Six Tribes; and the rest of the Teyvat 'Ark' in Hebrew spirituality; there are 12 Tribes escaped from the Great Flood. There are Seven Nations in Teyvat. If you discount one tribe from the other nations (removing Natlan), and count 6 + 6 (other nations) = 12 Tribes of Teyvat; representing the conclusion of us meeting all but one of the 12 Tribes of Teyvat's human race. This is why Mauvika is such a gamechanger in the storyline and Natlan will be an explosive region with lots of secrets unveiled. The war Ei mentioned in a previous event cutscene is coming soon and Natlan is just a foreshadowing, but back to my theory - as there are Six Tribes, and we have recently discovered in the spiritual community on earth that many Hebrew tribes were lost due to the diaspora - discounted and discarded almost like how the Khaenri'ahns were, and as a result of that - being in depravity, constant conflict against how the world views the 'Nation of War' - may either result in civil unrest in Natlan but is ultimately foreclosing the reality that many of the 12 Tribes of Israel have been lost; therefore I suppose that this game has a deeper analytical meaning. We can look towards how the 'Abyss' represents the 'Outsiders' to the Tribes of Israel, God's Chosen people, in Genshin this would (maybe?) represent Phanes and his supposed creation of humans, but the Tribes of Israel and the observation that the surface-dwellers may represent Israelites and the Abyss-dwellers may represent foreigners to the land of God, may give us an insight into the spiritual symmetry between the real world and Genshin. The Hoyoverse Lore Team and Worldbuilding Teams have proven to be wayyy ahead of the rest of the world in how they can pepper in spiritual truths into a seemingly fun and cute fantasy game. Back after the events of Inazuma, I grew a bit spiritually critical of this approach to delivering the project in a 5-year timeline for my own spiritual reservations. However now I am quite excited to see the Tribes of Natlan step out of their suppression and in the words of Mauvika 'with our blood, we will forge our true fate', against the suppression that has kept people in Natlan and confined to war. It is very probable that Mauvika is going to turn away from perpetual fighting amongst the Tribes she has to protect (supposedly) and instead embrace a new age of expression of war through games and torunaments with serious and serious consequences to them. The real war I mentioned earlier begins in the next chapter of this wonderful story across the dreams we all share in this incredible journey across Teyvat.

Also a point in favor that she's the archon, or at the very least some kind of puppet/ was destined from birth to be the spokes person of the archon, is her design: she's heavily associated with the power of fire in the trailer, but doesn't have a visible vision to control said fire (this fire symbolism could just be an artistic choice since she's meant to represent the nation of fire), her hair from the back looks exactly like the pyro symbol, obviously her color pallet fits the theme of fire (except her outfit, to me seems kind out of place in Natlan, shouldn't she have like tribal armor or something? Her outfit reminds me of Bayonetta's, if the put Xianyun in that Nintendo could have sued them of copyright xD), she, like every other archon, has streaks of lighter colored hair that supposedly would glow when using her powers (this seems to be a design must for every archon). On a side note she could just be the pyro dragon's human form, like Neuvillette, that is in a position of power under the archon's orders if she is in some way out of commission. But this would be too similar to the last region so perhaps is not very likely.

bruh dont give much into venti's words. like the way he talks about zhongli doesn't seem like him too. the only thing i am gonna take from this is that maybe present pyro archon case is similar to cryo archon. like we do know that present cryo archon is also the same one from 500 years ago. and the way mauvika talks makes me think that she is archon at the time of cataclysm. archons didn't meet after cataclysm . venti did say she know cryo archon and venti knowing about pyro archon assuming he is talking about present one(which i think he is )means he knew her from before cataclysm.

I dont think mihoyo the goat that always makes things interesting but only in the past or only in books, would make something that surprising in main story, is not too much of a surprise either. I used to have high expectations in the lore of this game but they always make the main story of every nation so lukewarm imo there is no stakes, there is no really low points or really high points is such a positive story with an inclination of everyone we cross our path to be our new friend. I misses all of the story in fontaine and I rly do not missed that much. I had hope for the nation of war to be one of the biggest conflicts we get in the story but I sadly have to accept that the a playing a sport with a ball where the loset dies and No One will die. I have a feeling we may get another Furina situation where we meet Mavuika and assume she’s the Pyro Archon and then boom she either steps down after the captain defeats her or wasn’t the archon the entire time. Maybe she’ll give her powers up back to the pyro sovereign? But when I look at her eyes and her pupils don’t look like venti, Ei, Zhongli, and Nahida. One thing you forgot to mention, is that she doesn't seem to have a Vision anywhere on her person. Most second-in-command do have Visions, even if they are supernatural beings like Kujou Sara or Yae Miko. Apparently, people in positions of authority are like "of course I have a Vision, duh". The only exceptions shown so far, are either dragons like Neuvilette, or somehow part of the archon, like Furina. So if Mavuika is not the archon, it is likely she is a dragon.

Here's the thing. I'm pretty sure Venti's voiceline about the Pyro Archon is pure sarcasm. I mean, he says Zhongli is a brutish blundering buffoon, and we know he's all BUT that. Then he follows up by saying "how do I know? Because this is written in the stories of old!", and that really sounds like a fantasy way of saying "if it's on the internet, it must be true!" That's bleeding sarcasm.

Venti was talking about the past and yes Zhongli was like what Venti describes. He was called a warrior god because he was slaughtering gods on sight, he only became gentle and refined some time later since the Archon war. so who knows in the past either Mavuika or previous Archon could have been like what Venti describes.

@@motemo8413 Hmm I doubt it. First, Venti is a troll, pretty much - this interpretation fits his personality just fine. Secondly, sure, Zhongli was a warrior. But a "blundering buffoon"? He's not just saying Zhongli is unrefined, he's saying Zhongli is a complete idiot. Back when Zhongli was killing gods left and right, he was already AT LEAST 3000 years old. Sure, he may not appreciate the finer things in life back then, but to call him a stupid clown? That's too much. I imagine he was most likely a no-nonsense person, fight first and ask later, but not once was he depicted as dumb. Quite the opposite, he's been shown to be smart back when Guizhong was alive, though likely not interested in finer things, such as when he analyzed and picked the best invention between Guizhong's and Cloud Retainer's. He certainly gained wisdom through the millennia and changed his tastes, but I can't possibly see him being a clumsy idiot back then, and suddenly going from low IQ to high IQ, especially since Hoyo's characters appear to be almost immutable even after thousands of years.
