About Speaker : Dr Mukul Kulshrestha is Professor in Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, MANIT-Bhopal. Dr Kulshrestha holds a B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT-Kanpur, and also has an M. Tech. in Environmental Engineering from IIT-Kanpur. He further has a Doctorate in Environmental Engineering from IIT-Delhi, and has been a Visiting Fellow in the School of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Leeds, UK. Dr Kulshrestha is widely travelled, and has more than 100 publications to his credit including 3 books. His research interests include Water and Wastewater, Water Sector Reforms and Policy, Solid Waste Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Infrastructure Utility Performance Measurements, and Exploration of linkages between the Food and the Global Warming.

First, abuse of science with a hidden agenda! Completely ignore or deliberately ignore the adverse impacts of agriculture on environment..why not talk about milk production and dairy products consumption and their deleterious effects on environmeant?? Why ignorant of the environmental impacts of the wastage of milk, grains, honey , fruits and vegetables in temples and yagas? Sciene is abused to promote a fanatic hindutuva rogue ideals! You are equally antivedic and antihindu? The 162nd hymn of the Rigveda describes Different Vedic gods preferences for animal meat. Thus Agni likes bulls and barren cows, Rudra likes red cows, Vishnu prefers a dwarf ox, while Indra likes a bull with droopy horns with a mark on its head, and Pushan a black cow. The Brahmanas that were compiled later specify that for special guests, a fattened ox or goat must be sacrificed. The Taittireeya Upanishad praises the sacrifice of a hundred bulls by the sage Agasthya. And the grammarian Panini even coined a new adjective, goghna (killing of a cow), for the guests to be thus honoured. SO all these Gods cannot enter a vegetarians only flats.' So this self proclaimed scientific nonsense brand all hindu GODS as environmental devils? Or will he accepts vedas are garbage ? Read Thiru குறள் 423:( Tamil sabmngham literature written 2000years ago) tofind the true wisdom. "எப்பொருள் யார்யார்வாய்க் கேட்பினும் அப்பொருள் மெய்ப்பொருள் காண்ப தறிவு."
