If it is true, and they regret, why did they correct at the time they happened, I.e. Oprah, Netflix, interviews. They had ample opportunity to walk back their comments. Seems to me they "regret" now because none of their ventures seem to be working out.

They’re regretting how their interviews were perceived and interpreted, not regretting their actions and words. I doubt there’d be any form of “regret” whatsoever had their worldly endeavours seen any success. Also, putting this out there as coming from a source gives them the option of denying it should this narrative no longer suit them in the future.

It is FAR too late. This goes beyond just the family -and the public (worldwide) will never trust her or forgive her. She's done. He may be allowed back into the family (but not the public) on some level, but not her. She has nowhere left. She can only go to ground for a very very long time.
