Me too have diabetes 2, and I have taken Metformin for years and I had lost weight From 200 pounds today 140 and the last time I had 109 glucose test results and I am very excited to get back on my lbs!! I think there’s a lot. Of truth to this . I got covid and recovered at home it took a long time as my sugars were not controlled . When more came out I focussed on sugars and started new meds and kept up with the metformin and I’ve not got sick at all during this pandemic . I’ve realized the importance of keeping my sugars under control .

Many pneumonias exist from fungal, viral, bacteria, and some deep lung like Covid are extremely dangerous. It’s a type that destroyed the lung tissue. This is far more sever than a normal viral pnemonia. I forgot the name of it. I have a medical book and I think there’s like six or seven of them listed in there

That's true- although we know many of the effects of metformin, we don't know the exact chemical mechanism of how it works. It was originally developed around 100 years ago, but they weren't quite sure what to do with it. Then insulin was discovered shortly after, so metformin was forgotten about for decades.

This is a very interesting topic, I am a diabetic and have been taking metformin for years, when me and my husband got covid in late 2020, my sugar was controlled, I was taking multi vitamins and taking metformin, we were sick for about a month, but we recuperated at home, maybe what they say about metformin could be true.

So simply you are 150 kg fat guy any virus is dangerous including Grip virus etc can kill you. So people who have diabetes who use their pils have better blood results & their bodies are more ready for Sars 19. People who have higher sugar rates are defenceless.
