My last time at Joe's was about 20 years ago. But I never saw it that empty. We went at opening and it was jammed. When we left at about 7:30 there were hundreds outside. Seeing it so empty blows my mind.

Their creamed spinach is really unique with a hint of cinnamon. Their fried chicken is the best deal anywhere in the country which is crazy. The Stone crabs speak for themselves. The best of the best. Nice video. New viewer. I try to go there once a year for a birthday or special occasion. A great time to go is at the very end of lunch service(2pm). The place will empty and they will let you stay as long as you want. The service is still top notch, maybe even better because there are extra help at that time. It also gives you time to escape Miami before the rush hour crush starts around 4pm.

Miami native here. Joe's is definitely worth a visit for the experience and the food won't disappoint. Yup, pricey, however with the price profile of many mediocre eateries, worth it. So glad you took us along for the visit.

Thanks for watching! Totally agree and for such a famous restaurant the prices are pretty standard for Miami

Depends. If you are only getting stone crabs, it is better to drive to the Fisheries (Key Largo or Marathon) to get them much cheaper and straight from the source. You can also find amazing key lime pies throughout the keys, but the chicken and hash browns are worth the visit.

Thanks for the tip! Definitely planning a trip to the keys next time we're in Florida and we'll have to check those out!

Service there was fantastic. Large $85 for 5 stone crab claws was a bit much and tasted like normal crab. The crab dip was delicious. But it’s a yolo place. My wife and I went there, not a daily place, but go there once atleast
@DP-jajaАй бұрын
Skip everything and just go with the stone crab! Stone crab and Alaskan King crab are the best! Tip: if you’re at the store and see Jonas crab they are smaller versions of stone crab and much much cheaper (although not as sweet as stone crab of course).

Without even watching the video the answer is obvious. A tourist trap and rip-off joint. Surviving only on their inflated and hyped up reputation, just like everything else in Miami.
