Dear JaffyTaffy. Tx for the comparison. I am Dutch and believe the comparison seems quite original. I hope the end in bankruptcy strays out. I appreciate the boldness and aggressive approach by MSTR, because the current monetary system seems outdated and is ruled by in my view opportunistic groups that unfortunately rule governments and their financing well. That said, MSTR must NOT repeat same errors. Future will tell… happy 2025!

@worldtrav72 Great question! Interestingly, Saylor had recently allowed himself to lose majority voting power in an effort to show transparency. Great move, in my view. In the end, he no longer needs majority voting power because nearly all MSTR shareholders are in favor of this bitcoin strategy of theirs.

Any way you could talk more about why it would be in our best interest to not just buy and hodl bitcoin but to also DCA into MSTR? You mentioned it briefly in your video but i'd love to hear you expand on that thought.

@cocoforcrack It is up to each individual to decide what allocation makes sense. For example, some may choose to hold 95% bitcoin and 5% MSTR. In other words, holding 95% of crude oil (bearer asset) and 5% of the most efficient oil refinery company. Others may go deeper into MSTR with a, say, 30% allocation. I have my own allocations, of course, but my main focus is always on Bitcoin as the core of long-term savings. In my opinion, a cold-storage bitcoin stack is always the top priority because it is a bearer asset, unlike MSTR. "Bearer asset," meaning you actually own the asset. MSTR is a regulated security. Super bullish on MSTR, obviously. But bitcoin is the reason for this revolution in the first place. In my personal view, once you have obtained a cold storage bitcoin stack that you are mostly satisfied with for the coming years and decades, then dipping your toes into something like MSTR might be worthwhile. TLDR: It's a personal decision for everyone to make. Just my 2 sats.

Saylor is visionary in that he sees bitcoin as the frontier, a once in a century opportunity to own a piece of the future. But he's probably too early as blockchain will get replaced by quantum blockchain in the coming decades. Plus bitcoin will crash to 50k when the halving cycle ends.

@utoob371 Yes, it even surprised me when I learned about it! They were their own empire of sorts. Same goes for the Knights Templar in the 1300s. In the end, competition like the British East India Company, and the British Empire in general, ended up being the VOC's downfall. MSTR is interesting as the next candidate because of their Bitcoin monopoly and bitcoin's unique properties.
