I personally enjoy watching the tree work videos. They offer more variation in activities than repetitive firewood processing videos.

I agree James, I’m trying to bring a little more variety to my videos whenever possible.

Man I can watch you guys do tree work because there’s no way my carcass is going that high in the air. Great job guys. Nice work 🔥

Just watching tree work gets boring, but, when you add focus on technique, and especially the machinery, it's very interesting. The Forst chipper still amazes me. That thing rocks! This was the perfect job for it, tight quarters, terrain, and numerous trees spread over a few acres. Good job.

I agree, I try to make the tree work videos informative without being a “how to”

Hey Jake and Chris! Just wanted to let you know that y’all’s tree videos are our absolute favorites! We met you both at Paul Bunyan two years ago. We enjoy all your videos, and rarely comment, but wanted to let you know about our love of your tree climbing videos! Thanks for sharing with us!
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
Hey Dino! Chris and I remember you both! Kentucky right? We missed you at Bunyan this year, thanks for the continued support!
@dinogarnett1106Ай бұрын
Yes, Jake, you have a great memory! It is Kentucky, however, we have decided to move back to Florida, which is why we didn’t make Paul Bunyan last year. We have our sights set on next year, for the show! Congratulations on that new baby coming, and all our futures look bright starting Jan 20th… !

Jake as a Black Belt? Looked more like a White Belt!!! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 I joke, of course! Amazing job by all 3 of you! Really shows the versatility of the equipment used! Of course, that's also dependent on your skills and experience, since you are PROFESSIONALS!!!

Good job, especially around the electrical service 👍 I think the technology has advanced enough with the mini and medium sized equipment where it's feasible to use them in suburban areas almost exclusively. Obviously in more rural areas where there is typically larger/older trees you'll probably still need the big equipment 🤷 Pretty sweet that you didn't have to haul away the chips. I enjoy the tree work videos.
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
If we swapped out my pick up for the international we could have hauled wood away as well. I’ve tried to build a very versatile equipment lineup.
@lyleharkness-rv5vfАй бұрын
@DudeRanchDIY from what I've seen from your videos, you have succeeded in versatility. Glad you don't get locked into "what works" and are always looking for improvements

@marcbaker0650Ай бұрын
I don't get the appeal of that chipper for residential tree work. For line clearance I could see its purpose but For the money you probably spent on that thing you could get a used 15" chipper and be so much more efficient feeding it with a mini skid. Best of luck.
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
The company gave it to me for free man. It’s very convenient to be able to drive it directly to the tree. I have the equipment to haul away wood if necessary and a 16” mirabel chipper for the bigger removals.

It’s a 55hp 8” capacity chipper on tracks designed for steep terrains. It’s not a full size tracked chipper…
