Congrats on the new addition to the family. As far as ramps for getting the miniskid into the truck. Flatten the bottom of a log then cut a taper on top. If they don't have to be to long they shouldn't be to heavy

By the looks of it you could have moved the totes back a bit over 1' and the same with the skid steer. Then you probably wouldnt really need air bags. You had so much real estate on that trailer to properly load it good enough to leave your bags at 15psi.

So for loading the mini skid onto the hook flatbed fabricate a 12-14” ramp off the back of the deck, hinged a lot like the ramps on your trailer. Secondly, looking at your wood yard you could save time and fuel if you stacked some mafia blocks along the base of that dirt slope, back fill it like its own ramp and dump the tote cages without lowering the can to the ground. Just a thought.

@@DudeRanchDIY I envision the raised area long/wide enough for truck and trailer to pull along side ( lower area for loading trailer) rotating forks on a piece of equipment . Tractor or skid overhanging cage over truck/trailer rotate the forks easy peasy and on your way. Saves all the time of lowering/raising of body, more importantly saves the fuel, not only on the trucks, but the equipment as well.

Next time you’re bucking up an oak or other dense type tree, why not measure out the length of the ramp, taper cut it to make your DIY ramps? I’d then drill a hole in the thick end & loop heavy rope thru it, tie it off for a grab handle. All of that makes sense in my head but I’m a retired hazmat guy so there’s that. Good luck pal.

When I went on a website, it said that you had to sign over power of attorney to somebody in Maine to allow them to do the registration for you.
