Yeah when he paused and dropped "he's amazing..." I was like yeah this dude has been sleeping with his friend...A LOT! Because No dude nowhere says :He's amazing"" about another guy. I couldn't even think of a scenario where I would say that about another except for maybe "my brother is an amazing father" or "Barry Sanders was an amazing running back"., but never in the way I would describe my wife or how a single would describe a potential forever mate. She won't be able to shake this feeling that her husband just might be gay. She will compartmentalize it in order to cope but it will continue to sneak up on her. 1. Women's intuition is almost always on point.. 2. Does he exclude her from this friendship? 3. If he's gay, it's about him. If he's cheating it's about him. 4. If he's gay & cheating, she's not to blame and predictable for her to feel humiliated, devastated and take it personally. It takes as long as it takes to process it. If he is gayley cheating, she can cry, beg and plead for him to just hurt her with the truth and he might do that which really is the lesser pain than being hurt with lie's. Lie's hurt so much more than the truth. And he may hurt her with lie's because he's not ready to handle the truth let alone telling her the truth. Once that Bell's rung, there's no unringing it. I hope she has an honest conversation with herself then with her husband. Transparency is best. Her thoughts, feelings and fears are valid and they're her's and they're real. You've got to be real even when other's can't.

Depends on the relationship. I'd want a "why?" without judgement, which is what a laugh and a satirical "what?" would convey... We don't know what their style of communication is within their relationship because we're not them... a simple question isn't incriminating. A pause could simply mean he is trying to process what he's just been accused of.
