What’s your rear axle weight rating on the door sticker? With the toy hauler fifth wheel trailers that’s where I run out first with my srw truck. You’re well over the 10k gvwr on your truck, but the scale house’s typically only look at gross weight and axle weights

I de-leased this week, going to try a larger company, haven't got a load since end of July waited a month and then they dropped the rate .40 per mile this month just couldn't see spending money on insurance when there are no loads.

I called around to the dealers near home 2 weeks ago when I was home, they say they've seen a slight downturn in sales but none of them seemed worried about it. Plus since I got my truck back from the body shop, I've talked to every dealer I've delivered to and they don't seem worried. I think we'll be alright. May not have the variety of choice of where to go, but I think we'll have work and be fine before long. Hell the dealer I dumped off too in Colorado on monday said they're waiting on more units and the same at the one in ohio on thursday that i dropped omw home. Be safe bud. I was within a few weeks of trying to hire on somewhere. I’m so thankful I held up when fuel kept going up. I have a brand new 22’ Ram 3500 sitting in the driveway lol. Hey it’s the truck I always wanted so no harm. It’s fully ready to go at the drop of a hat. 91 gallon fuel tank in the bed and all. Still plan to do this at some point, but I’ll hold up for a while.

I’m watching your video now. I put the Bullet Point phone mounts in my Ram but I honestly wouldn’t buy them again. They vibrate bad going down the road. They shake bad enough you can’t read anything on your phone going down the road. I know you’re not supposed to be looking at your phone but we all do it.

Great video man. As far as the bed situation…. I tried all kinds of different things even exactly what your doing and it just wasn’t working. I finally just took out the back seat figured out what height I could sit pretty much straight up but still have my storage underneath built me a platform Put in an 8in memory foam and I sleep better in my truck than I do anywhere. I figured as much time as we spend on the road I’m going to make sure I can rest comfortable one way or another. Hopefully some steady work will be here soon. Stay safe my friend

Thanks for sharing the weigh ticket. The only thing I see is that you are over on your Gross Axel Weight for the rear axel. Your weigh ticket shows 7280lbs for the rear axel. 2500's only have a 6000lb GAWR for that rear axel. Isn't that a bit risky? I'm I missing something here?

I will have to check. But I do not think it is risky. Because I go in all DOT and get weight on the scale. They all say I’m fine because they look at that 26,000 pound tag

Im interested in your actual weight. My 2021 ram dually has a 14k gvwr but only weighs shy of 10200 with everything including 50 gal factory fuel tank and 95 aux fuel tank full. I to have a cdl so I have to be careful on the 20k gvwr units, most looks to be under the max of 15800 actual weight that I personally can haul but a few are over that weight. Just a bit of information on my personal setup with a dually for those out there who my already have a truck (and have a cdl ) like I did b4 I started. Next one my very well be a srw though

Based on his gross weight and the weight of the trailer (15,056 on his paperwork), his truck and payload totaled 9,264 pounds. Under the 10k his truck GVWR is. Not sure what his front or rear individual axle rating is for the truck.

Question I have the same truck with out the airbags and my rear axle is 6040lb And the front is 6000lb . Is it more equipped with the airbags. I've done a couple loads with Horizon . Haven't done a fifthwheel yet . Have class B cdl don't think that makes a difference however . my truck is 22k with a trailer . Would like to know what I'm aloud to do legal. Payload is the low point at 2130 lb . Any advice is appreciated

@@mr.tennessee a triple axle toy hauler has at least 2500-3000 lbs of payload dry! Your truck might have 2200 lbs of payload capacity. Add in the weight of your hitch, toolbox, contents of said toolbox, cooler and yourself. Lord ol mighty! You seem like a good dude and I do enjoy your videos, but you shouldn't be towing anything that large with anything but a dually!! Safe travels!!
