Lol it’s so funny you said this. I’m 15 and work in nursery at church and we have moms who have to come back because they left their phones, food, Bible ect. In the diaper bag 😂 one time this mom came back and told me she needed to see her sons diaper bag because she left her chocolate bar in it because she said her husband would tease her about having to eat something to stay awake during service so she hides it and then comes back to get it 😂

@@addyb2179 Let me see if I have this right. Adults are eating during church? How distracting. I can't imagine listening to the readings while a grown woman is chewing, and crinkling food wrappers. Pretty disrespectful to the Holy Word of God. I'm in my 50's and have never seen an adult eating in church. It's a maturity thing, you know.

@@jenniferellsworth1226 yes i do understood where you’re coming from, but when your blood sugar drops do to lack of food you need to eat no matter where you are at. She has a very busy morning with all of her children and needs to eat something to pick her blood sugar back up. I mean babies cry in service and we don’t find that to be disrespectful so i see no harm in having a little snack in service. no one has ever cared about it in our church before, but i know things are different at every church so yours might be different. have a blessed day

When we arrive at church! I have my purse! Plus a backpack with our bibles in it! Plus my son’s Epi-pen incase he needs it, or his rescue inhaler for his asthma and then, his eye drops and nose spray!.. I feel like I’m a walking pharmacy haha

Yep!! Don’t know what ur talking about- In our church we don’t take snacks with not for the adults neither children( it’s only one hour- come on) and children sit with us as a part of child training..If need be Mom or dad go out with the child for a few minutes… I know I know this is all terribly old fashion.. But we love it- training a child and all sitting together as a family in church 🥰♥️the training can get hard but so worth it & such a blessing!!

When I went to church a lot of us mommas had at least three bags - the purse, diaper bag, class/teacher/leader bag and or quiet busy/toy/activity bag. We took kids, even babies to the main service. Nursery for small kids was only during Sunday school/Bible study, older kids went to their class.

You’re so funny, Evan! They DO make what is actually called a “MAN PURSE!! Most are made of leather and have long straps that allow you to use it over or under your suit coat as a Cross-body bag. A lot of men wear them on their back. Or, you could find a nice leather back-pack that holds more stuff! 😊

😂Lol 😂you two are so funny! Buy her a crossbody purse it goes over her shoulders. My husband carries stuff for me if I don’t take my purse. I don’t ask him to carry candy though. Mostly driver’s license, debt card, credit card, cash, lipstick and gum. Anything more he complains. I have found out him carrying my wallet doesn’t work because he is never around when I need to buy something so I have to wait on him. Thats why I crossbody purse now. I think its funny butterfingers for church. I wouldn’t want to open a bag in church that makes so much noice when the preacher is preaching. Yesterday someone cell phone rang and everybody attention turned that way. Get her some of cardboard boxes like the movie theater has it won’t be so loud.
