Follow the quest markers until you get to New Vegas. Everything outside that route is made to kill you to keep you on the right track at first

If u get bored install some Quality of life mods, the games is kinda old and crashes a lot xd

i finished it. Great rpg adventure. Shows it's age tho. Also had to install a bunch of mods and patches to make it stable or it would crash every 20 minutes

I've done 2 completed playthroughs the first playthrough was without dlc and the second was both base game and dlc. The hardcore mode was also the best feature for the game I might try that mode someday.

I'm playing it for the first time now. I tried getting into it several times over the last 5-ish years but could never get into it because of the clunky gameplay. Same was true for Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 was my first Fallout too (followed by 76) That all changed 2 weeks ago, however, when I installed the Tale of Two Wastelands modlist. It basically merges Fallout 3 and New Vegas into one massive game with tons of added features, vastly improved visuals but most importantly; gameplay. The list makes it feel more like Fallout 4, with sprint, aim-assist on controller, and just way more fluid "movement" overall. My buddy, who did play these games back in the day, also says that this is the best way to experience both games. If you have access to a gaming PC, seriously consider this modlist because it truly makes Fallout 3 and New Vegas feel like a remake. I've already finished 3 and its DLC's and am currently in side quest galore after just arriving at New Vegas, and I love every second of it. New Vegas is well on its way to be the best Fallout game for me. Maybe it already is. Hell, I probably like Fallout 3 about as much as 4 due to the story, which is already far superior, and NV is just pure roleplaying. I'm lost for options on what to do rn. Actually feel kinda overwhelmed, but I'll get through it because it is just too much fun

@@kentdrokitto2765 i got it working using just NVSE and NVAC both from nexusmods. the game crashed everytime after the opening cutscene for me NVAC fixed that and you need NVSE for nvac to work it was super simple to do just drag and drop

I got it on xbox so i cant get any mods so i am a bit worried it will bug a lot. Doew anyone know if it works ok on xbox?

I got the game for a 2.50 a few weeks ago. Sometimes out of nothing it can crash but it doesnt happen often. I also got stuck a few times in the air with no way of grounding myself but other than that its still playable

@@TenkabitoShien yeah same. Tho it didnt glitch for me. i sometimes got stuck in few places and stuff but that its. By the way i got it for 2.50 too after i finished Follout 3
