Is Newmarket REALLY the Coolest Town in NH?

Thank you for the review! You are right, looks way too pricey though for common people like my wife and me. I work at a private non-profit in CT, so I am strapped about purchasing a full out house... we cannot afford to dine out, so that literally is off the table. That community looks great!!

I don't know how I've never seen this town. My husband and I are going up again in a few weeks for a week. I can't wait to check it out.

So we are not retiring for 2 more years, and then yes. We come up from NJ at least 3x a year. I love the area around Exeter and Portsmouth, and my husband will have to be within 25 mins or so of Sig Sauer in Epping where I know he'd be a member, lol. We also love and stay in New Durham, Sanborton and some other towns, but southern NH will be a tiny bit closer when family comes to visit. Right now we pay $8500/yr for a 50 x 100 lot in NJ, and I can't wait to get an acre or two for the same money. Like the house in Newmarket is 9 acres for $7500 in taxes. Unreal.

It was cooler when Joyce's Kitchen was still open. It's fine now, though.
