I think keep the SB's limited and let the skateshops run those. It sucks those are super limited but skate shops are getting more foot traffic than ever before As for the dunk lows and highs, they need to pump out more GR colorways. The leather is no different than than the jordan mids or low, the quality control is terrible, and they're only 100 dollars. Its free money

The Civilist Dunk is my favorite Dunk from last year, because it’s my favorite Skateshop here in Germany where i also won a raffle. Second Place might be the Sashikos due to it‘s easy wearability.

If you start looking online you’ll see dunk/sb prices coming down. I’ve seen pairs that were $600 last year down to $280-$400. I think the market is overwhelmed for resellers and they’re buying up stock but not moving it fast enough. I can’t imagine anyone going back and buying a pair of Community Garden or Civilist dunks in a year or two. My only own the Kenny Powers Sb and the gray first Medicom collab. With the exception of the Gulf of Mexico and Cinco de Mayo I don’t think I could see myself buying another pair.

imho they should make more general releases to drop the price. I honestly don't there are "too many" dunks, because they are so limited. But definitely enjoy the creativity behind new dunks.

If anyone is saying Nike is not making enough of the SB dunks in particular, I would kindly like them to shut up and forever hold their peace. These artificial scarcity tactics designed to reward resellers and feed hype and FOMO are disgusting. Just recently I saw one of the designers at Nike SB talk about P-Rod's shoes and how they feel his new What the P-Rod dunks will inspire a next generation of skaters. Imagine saying or even halfway believing that crap when 99.9% of those potential next generation of skaters doesn't have a chance in hell of getting a pair. As for the regular dunks, I feel like they are making a good amount of them, but the quality is just not there for most releases. At least the Nike By You Dunk lows are more available now.

Honestly, it’s not that there’s too many dunks. It’s the fact that they’re not taking their time with them quality-wise. When you compare the leather quality with older dunks, there’s just no competition. The leather on the pairs that have come out recently (Syracuse, vast grey, football grey) feels like plastic, yet people are paying ridiculous resale prices.

My favorite dunk this year has to be from the Carpet Company Baltimore! I’m all for simplicity in design. But a lot of collaborations in recent years have been purely lazy in their final execution. I’m not even a “dunk guy”. But These Carpet Dunks are just something special.
