Is Ninja Gaiden 2 Black the Definitive Edition?

It's the best way to place, other than the original, if you can emulate that on your newer xbox or whatever (I assume that improves performance issues that the original slightly suffered from)

I'm almost certain Itagaki took the original game files with him when he left, that's why they never completely remade OG NG2.

I don't believe this BS story , i mean they could replay og ng2 and try do remake a game like og ng2 To me the main reason its because of Hayashi pride,to this day he still believe his vision of Ninja Gaiden is better than Itagaki's... Remember ng3 and his japanese burger for the West ? We needed a huge backlash for him to apologize for ng3 and work on updated version of ng3(RE)

The OG staircase runs like butter on the series X. The stylistic changes for the new game at night do bug me a lot too. No idea what they were thinking with this release

Since I do not have an Xbox 360 anymore, it definitely is because the censored old PlayStation version is crap. Glad we can have it uncensored on PS5 now.

Its the Demons souls remake all over again but instead of the art direction that is misunderstood by the devs , its the gameplay feautures. A lot of the discourse about calling it the definitive version when it feels anything but that couldve been avoided if they just didnt attach the black label to it and just call it enhanced or something

I have had terrible performance on PC. Dead inputs/laggy inputs is nonstop Any suggestions?

I'm afraid I'm not sure what to suggest, I've been lucky(?) in that mine has been fairly smooth

Maybe try capping it to 60fps if you aren't already. Either in-game or through your GPU control panel, try both methods and see if it makes a difference. When I say limit through GPU control panel I mean set it to 120 in-game, but then cap it to 60 through control panel. That way your GPU will have full control over limiting it. GPU control panel caps tend to reduce input delay in a lot of games in my experience, compared to in-game caps I mean.

Which is the definitive for you, the 360 version in backwards compatible mode on the latest Xbox?

@@SilverMont well, I remember the game being much more difficult than back on 360. So, assuming the 360 version is harder like I remember, I'd say that one.
