LAB offered me support as a #disabledgolfer and the club has changed my game, putting was always pretty good but it's still been game changing

If you check their website, you are supposed to press it forward until you don’t see the white of the face

Having suffered in the past from the yips, I find applying the small forward press just before pulling the trigger really helps me

Thanks for the useful tip - I’ve been struggling with the ball jumping on long putts for a while and will now try pushing my hands forward like you did.

This s2s putter is really nice when i was testing one out and I almost bought one until i found out about the shaft lean so instead i went with the lab since the handle forward presses automatically. I wasn’t trying to learn how to do forward presses I would prob be chipping it on accident forgetting to keep the putter pressed. Also you been killing it with the content!
@Adam307807 сағат бұрын
You need to forward press it until the white face is not visible, it’s all over KZbin mate, Danny Maude did a video explaining how it works

It's not about zero torque its about which putter holes the most putts, i think everyone is getting carried away with the torque question, you have to applaud LAB for creatin the buzz around something we never knew we needed? :)

If you don’t press forward you will have 6.3° loft that’s why you’re getting the ball to chip. There’s 3.3° of press so when you press forward, and you can’t see the white insert, there’s only 3° of loft on the putter. I’ve got the #7 style putter.
@garymartingolf7 сағат бұрын
@@paulburgin3594 honestly, this putter with a press grip on could be lethal! I do like it, I’m just not used to pressing forwards.

Sueno is a lovely resort Gaz. Are you going to do some course vlog on their courses whilst you're there? It would be a shame to miss out on the weather and conditions available to you. On the putter...I wonder if you've tried it or the L.A.B. putters in the device that PXG use to market their Alan putter? That could be an interesting exercise...

We have done some and they’re coming soon! It’s not gone well on camera, I’m Going to have to have some golf psychology coaching because I’m going from playing unreal off camera to hacker on camera and it’s really starting to get me down. I would love too, but I can’t get one. I’ll will though if they’ll send one 👌🏼

Odyssey will sell loads of square to square putters, they have familiar heads, inserts and grips which will appeal to a lot of golfers. They have already had models that work best with some forward press and it doesn’t take much to get used to it. They will also be available in most shops so can be tried and fitted easily. Plus the price point is more appealing and it won’t be long before used models will be available at a slightly lower cost. A lot of putter confidence comes from how it looks so another plus.
@garymartingolf9 сағат бұрын
I don’t disagree with any of the above, I think you’re right on all parts.

Gary, if you put a LAB 3 degreesp ress grip on , does that mean the face is de-lofted by 3 degrees?
@garymartingolfСағат бұрын
Yes. The shaft will be leaning automatically, so weirdly, you don’t feel like you’re forwards pressing when you’re holding the club.

I really wish people would stop using the revealer that L.A.B created to test any other putter. The revealer will only ever work with a lie angle balance putter and LAB have that patent. I think LABs tech is fantastic, but the revealer is marketing.
@garymartingolf7 сағат бұрын
The torque revealer came before the Lab, it doesn’t recognise brands, it just recognises torque, what are you talking about lol 😂
@kd22825 сағат бұрын
@@garymartingolf I'm taking about facts. Some background for those of you unfamiliar with L.A.B. The brainchild of Bill Presse IV, L.A.B. was born from a frustration that he was constantly battling the torque of his putter. He invented the “Revealer,” a device that simply and easily shows the effect that torque has on a putter when allowed to swing freely. Then he invited the DF2.1 to eliminate torque in the revealer. Then he patented lie angle balancing. No other brand can eliminate torque in the same way to perfectly satisfy that revealor because lie angle balancing is patented. Why do you think pxg tried making they own revealor? So what are you taking about? lol.
@rivermontgreencommittee20429 сағат бұрын
The can test is useless, the balance is relative to the lie angle not parallel to the ground
@garymartingolf9 сағат бұрын
No it’s not. Both tests are 100% correct.
@DA22YLM53 минут бұрын
If thats the case the LAB wouldn’t have returned to parallel each time… so its very relevant
