Is Persona 5 X Cooking?

Hey everyone it's Tiller! I'm back to Persona 5 the Phantom X, my latest hyperfixation!
I have a lot to say about this game, but I really hope things also continue to get better.
There are a ton of good things happening here. But quality is ultimately subjective. It's challenging finding a good time and way to talk about this game due to the live service nature of it.
It's also just been busy. There are so many games coming out right now that playing this one is... not easy to find the time to do.
But since Palace 2 has officially wrapped up (and I finally managed to beat it) I figured it's a good a time as any to start talking about this game again.
I wont' spoil major plot events but I think it's important to note that there are essentially 2 stories at play here, P5X's main plot and the Persona 5 crossover event which is... canon?
The most confusing part of this game is figuring out why this crossover is happening because it's clearly not just an event.
But I hope you guys are either having fun playing or are interested in the inevitable reveal for global... maybe.

i have only one complain with game story updates are to slow i mean dungeon 3 grinding is not big deal in any gatcha games or any jrpg and devs are very friendly for free players

I actually like the difficulty spike and special boss battles in Palace 2. They are closer to traditional RPG where levels and team making matter. The Velvet trials are also fun to a degree. Every fight else is just normal gacha shit. You need to pay for dupes to compete in PvP ranking, and other event bosses have nothing to do with strategy. Most of the time they are too easy to beat. Won't comment on main story, character quest story, or social links/confidants because of language barriers, but I'd wager they are even more important than combat mechanics or gacha/leveling resources. Simply put, no one plays persona games to do PvP rankings. Persona players go for the story, characters, and social links (ok I'll be honest, the dating sims lol). They better be good or players will leave, let alone paying for it.

How many hours have you put Into the game so far?

I don't actually know. If there's a way to check I don't know where it is. But I've definitely put in a fair amount, probably above 100 hours at this point.

I reject the fact that it's moving slowly and you have to wait for updates..and I've never understood the logic of Cognitives, maybe in Gatcha games there are more female characters, but also all the personas, it seems like a lack of imagination to me The crossovers with the original Phantoms seem like an attempt to buy time
