Microsoft exec said its a brand new entry/ unannounced game so it can't be ff7 remake so my 3 main predictions are: 1. Persona 6 (Atlus' past major games being revealed at xbox showcases mean it's possible. 2. New 3D Ninja Gaiden (team ninja are confirmed to be working on something and with the recent announcement of ragebound a new 3D entry seems highly likely) 3. Resident Evil 9 (Pretty much confirmed to be in development but more likely to be revealed at a sony showcase imo)

Probably not a port or DLC since the wording is “new entry.” Persona 6 is a strong contender as well as DQXII. It I really think that will show up at a Nintendo event. A new Tales game? We’re due for an announcement for that but I’m not sure you could call it a legendary IP so much as persisting.

David, love the intro. As much as I would love to see P6, what do you think the odds are that it's actually Devil Summoner instead? Remember back in September the SMT III steam page briefly got edited to have Devil Summoner achievements? Also, totally agree with you on Clair Obscur Expedition 33. That game looks amazing and I cannot wait to play it.

I highly doubt it will be RE9, Sony has that on lock. All the RE games along with monster hunter have been announced at a Sony show. Also square will still probably do their marketing deals with Sony. There is a very low chance it could be KH4, Tales game, Nier, DQ12. The most likely thing would be something from Sega/Atlus, but maybe we get something from Koe Techmo or Konami.

Loving the intro! The dumbass with expectations has spoken! It's happening. Seriously though, going off the reveal this Thursday it seems like a hardware reveal. The February/March direct/presentation for Switch 2 will focus on the games and may contain Persona 6 (or maybe a special SMT project, SMT 4 Remake or SMT 6 tease) In regards to the XBOX developer direct I don't think it's Atlus. I think the mystery game could be Ninja Gaiden 4 (since I want it so badly hahaha)

Gotta be real David, i think P3R and Metaphor performed so badly on xbox that as soon as their marketing deal is up, I don't think Sega/Atlus will ever go back. Especially when there's about to be a brand new console that will utterly dominate Japan. Probably a better match for jrpg promotion if they're going to side with a platform holder for marketing.

Gonna have to say false for the reason being if it’s an Xbox times exclusive the game automatically dies sega knows this so does atlus they won’t repeat the failure that was persona 3 reload due to gamepass and the lack of quality that came with it the club is great example of lazy so no sega won’t be stupid again and have persona tank because it, persona 3 tanked as a result selling garbage compared to 5 due to 3r was on gamepass and that almost destroyed persona there is no way they send persona out to die.

With the Persona series, if it's not broke don't fix it -- but saying that, I can not help but say that I liked the Metaphor Refantazio approach to the character building more than Persona. Demons collecting is fine but the job-system approach in Metaphor really nailed it for me.
