It’s just a discord channel and a personal chat box in game (doesn’t go away) with PLARIUM agents (working in shifts) asking if u have any questions, etc. They gave people so stuff for signing up to their discord. They have or will have an in game tournament for an avatar (screen capping and posting on discord your entry).

Hey buddy, I am pretty sure Eternal Evolution had this. Once you reached a rank, you had to contact the VIP, then got you into the club, and you would be rewarded each month based off the amount you spent in game. The whales in our clan used to show screen shots, but I have long left that game and that discord server.

I really don't care either way if it's based on spending or not.... But I will go to my grave saying that the whales and krakens, that are on the top end of this 'gap' from the ftp/low spenders on the bottom.... have zero business being put into tournament groups with them. Tournament groups should be based, first, by account level, and secondly spending pattern. A Ftp account shouldn't have to try to win a 1st place spot against a top 100 player in the game. It's B.S. The spenders should be competing against their own. Then I truly won't give a shit how much free stuff Plarium wants to pile on top of what they already have, because it won't be affecting my game play.

Casinos in Australia have just been hit real hard with money laundering compliance and cashless cards for gambling. So much so that some of the big ones are running at losses for the first time in decades. Seems they’re just shifting that model to the online gambling world or RAID.

Guns of Glory has VIP service where big spenders get their own personal customer service rep. 'Whales' have their own Discord server depending on spending level. The top player in GoG (years ago) was actually flown out to their HQ for a personal tour. There are things like conventions and player meetings to discuss the game, where it is going and what is happening in the future. Swag bags and convention 'butter ups' are the norm during these real life events. Stuff like plush toys, figurines, cosplay attire, etc.

I don't care about "pay-to-win," mainly because I don't quite understand what, exactly, the whales are "winning." Maybe Plarium realized this, too, and that's the reason for the club. Now the whales can say, "I'm one of the Supremes!" (And *I* can say, "Not until you put on a gown and sing 'Stop! In the Name of Love.' ") Anyway, the thing that irks me just a little is that Plarium wants to "enhance players' gaming experience" and maybe I'm being naive, but I sure wish they felt that way about *everybody* who plays their game.

an older plarium game-stormfall age of war-has a vip club for "coiners" with exclusive perks-in order to be in the vip club you had to spend a certain amount on the game-I never made it into the vip club because I was a low spender-I was mistaken for a coiner by adversaries in the game-my league went to war with a coiner league and won because we worked together as a team and beat them with strategy-my point is this-it doesn't matter what you spend it matters how you play

Plarium already has something like this in some of their other games. But most of those games are dead or close to and so is the VIP club feature. At its prime it offered extra chat window with personal agent, kinda personal support, uniqe units and discounts on packs. Agents would get a bonus if their whale spent above certain treshold which obiviously introduced bribery in some cases. Raid's vip thingy looks like wont have that part so maybe plarium learnt something after all.

Good for them, I don't care about what they get, as long as they don't get to influence champions being nerfed because the only people wanting nerfs are whales or people who have all or most All of the best champions. Nerfs will not affect them because they have replacements most of us Don't.

I totally agree about the separate game. I do understand peoples concerns with tournaments, they really need to add like 100 more levels, 100-300 more base energy and like 3 higher tiers of tournament separation. Level 100 tells you nothing and squeezing people together at such different levels of power and privilege leads to conflict and bitterness IRL lol It would let the whales run wild, expand the headroom of competition for mid game & lower spenders, trigger more chase in those not whaling and allow them to make more progression packs to sell. Seems like an everybody win

I agree for the most part, except when P2W (Whales and krakens) affect play everywhere. Case in point, a mostly F2P casual clan trying to make it in a world of P2W clans in Siege and other Clan V Clan activities. Where real rewards are locked behind horrid matchmaking.

Im f2p and compete with these guys regularly (g4 LA, gold 4TTA etc) I do get wins against them sometimes but the real top it still wont make much of a difference to them (if its actual resources and not just cosmetic/direct line to plarium).

its a matter whenever you care if you always lose hydra and siege and possibly cannot climb live arena for the missions I guess 3xArena is just poor as anything above silver 2 is a nightmare of what teams to have

I've had a FTP account since 2019, which is fairly well developed. I've finished Faction Wars, can do all DT rotations, and max chest CB's. But I just cannot crack Gold tier in TagTeam... so I'm stuck & I can't progress the Ramantu mission... it's just rediculous that this stuff is gated behind being in the top X number of players in the world. Why are whale / other players progression hindering my ability to progress?

If the game was properly balanced, I would agree with you.However the gap between pay to win and ftp is completely out of wack. If they would balance the Arenas, tournaments and events then it wouldn't make any difference, But the reality is there is no way to progress in many areas. Because you are paired against accounts that it is completely impossible to beat due to the resource difference between the 2 accounts.. The chasm Analogy you gave would only be applicable if the person on the other side could not jump back and compete against you. Free to play is stuck on one side not able to cross and pay to win gets to jump back and forth and easily defeat the ftp and ftp has no chance of beating or even competing against ptw.The content needs to be based on your account. Strength and the level of development of your champions. Not mismatched pairings that gives one side a completely unequaled advantage.
