Worked for a medium sized pneumatic carrier and stopped at one of the yards to hook a trl and walked inside the terminal early afternoon and had to search for Driver Appreciation scraps..A small orange Juice tipped on it's side and an oatmeal creme pie i found laying around. I just laughed as i walked out the door. Just pay us for God's sakes. Idc if it's $10 dollars

I’m reading up on the Pacific War right now and have read two of his books so far and seen quite a few videos featuring him talking about the war in the pacific. I would argue they have training that long because a good 80% of the trainers are lease opps. And the lease oops foot the entire bill for the trainee and the truck and prime get the profit of the truck. I agree they screw most of the drivers out of money

@@drturkey1318 Crazy thing is, very little if any. In both towers firefighters never reached the fire, save one super fit battalion chief who reached the floor(s) of impact in Tower 2. The towers collapsed while most firefighters were still dozens of floors below the fires.

My last 2 loads have been short 30-50 miles on the actual (center of town, to center of town). Turns out they pay household mover rate which makes it like 10% less. Interestingly my calculations showed more than 10% short.

So you mean every trucking company makes their money off of the driver driving?? Not the Csr booking the load, not the planner getting the driver scheduled properly, and not the fleet manager working with the driver to make sure everything is correct? WOW weird!!

@@Brent-w7c The driver’s are the profit center. But the profit is higher when the cost centers are efficient. Drivers do better when costs centers don’t try to profit from them. The premise of your comment that all companies operate the same is false.
