Another reason Puar should be considered a guy is in the language. In the Japanese dialogues, Puar uses the term boku when referring to himself, and is also sometimes addressed with the honorific -kun. For those unfamiliar with why this important, both of those terms are used by or to refer to boys in the Japanese language. If Puar were female, he would be addressed with the honorific -chan instead, and would not use the word boku when referring to himself.

That's actually false, Puar has been noted to refer to himself using the word boku, which is a word used by young boys/men. Puar has also been addressed with the honorific "-kun", something which is also only used with young boys/men.

not just the voice but puar expresses female type emotions i.e. "my poor yamcha, I'd be lost without you yamcha". In the manga puar's a male fine and I can accept when clearly visible characters with clearly visible masculine/male body types are voiced by women to get the high pitched voice. When your giving me a clearly female voice, expressing clearly female emotions and it's a character that you really can't tell by just looking at them i.e. an animal like a cat, or in winnie the pooh piglet then the answer is at least up for debate. imo manga puar = male and anime puar = female.
