Is Ranked ACTUALLY Good Now In THE FINALS Season 4?

it’s even less forgiving in diamond. but the only time losing hurts the most is first round placing like last. if you get to the finals and don’t win you gain or get 3-4th and ur a 2-4 seed you gain so

I got to Plat 1 solo in season 2 and then won 3 games in a row all the way to the finals and somehow that did not get me into diamond then I lost a single game and shot down to plat 2. I just retired from comp when that happened.

I see that several users took your example of the ranked score in a literal way which apparently missed your point. Since i hit platinum all the lobbies were from easy to very easy and a loss between 800 and 1200 and just winning from 300+ (Mostly) to 750 (rarely) Now im in diamond and its the same shit. I did it all as soloQ. Its so dumb when the lobby is a "very easy" lobby but they all are running esmerald weapons.

I agree with him it isn’t very fair for a lot of people. I’ve been in teams that we’re supposed to dog walk the whole lobby, but unfortunately things didn’t go their way and the first or the first ones get knocked out in the amount of points you lose doesn’t compare to sometimes how much you win. in the beginning of this season, I got to gold one less than four hours got on later that night and lost a couple of games and then ended up back in Gold four never makes sense

I've never made a video talking about solo queuing and why I do it. I just like playing games solo. Probably as a result of playing Tarkov and Rust and similar games as a solo a lot. I like the challenge of it. I'll sometimes join the vc in-game but I very rarely get teammates that are using it.

Its definitely better but still not perfect, or even as good as pretty much any game with a serious ranked mode. I think a main thing is its just lacking a lot of quality of life features that other games ranked modes have. For example if a random teammate leaves halfway through a match, why am i not able to forfeit, or why am i still penalised with -900 points, am i now expected to win a 2v9? Also a funny thing on the point of that, someone i was duoing with the other day rage quit a match, leaving me and the random teammate to play it out. we came last in the first round and i lost 900 points, but my duo who literally quit like 5 minutes into the match didnt lose any elo at all, and didnt even get a queue ban. if this is the case, can you just leave every game your going to lose? or is it just a first to quit that doesnt affect your elo?

Ranked system is ok the griefing off recognizing names is extremely bad tho. But the balancing is horrible rn. In high elo all they run is model. I was playing the other day; Everyteam was fighting/ concentrated in one area and all you seen and heard were model shots.

They need to give your rank based on what you placed, 1st place win should be equal to an 8th place lost, or a 4rth and 5th place should win and lose the same amount, so on and so fourth

At least that's how I think it should be balanced, with 8 teams in 1 ranked game, and 4 get knocked out in the first round

At no point do u lose 6k rank score for 1 loss not even close man. The max you would lose from 1 loss is probably 1200-1500 when you are in gold. In plat to diamond you lose at max around 900 Stop making videos on stuff when you don’t know what you’re talking about…. Like where are you getting these numbers from??

@@DonkeyTeeth7 At multiple points in the video I say something along the lines of "I know these aren't the numbers, let's just say they are". Because I couldn't remember what the numbers were off the top of my head. However what I do know, as stated in the video, is that frequently 1 loss can be equivalent to 3 wins. I created hypothetical numbers to assist in explaining the ranked points win/loss ratio.

@@swampfomp the issue is it usually 1 loss is equal to 1 win until you are diamond plus. It is usually a little more forgiving than that in gold - plat 3 Seeding makes it sway a little bit but it’s generally 1 loss is equal to 1 win for the most part until you are in top 500. From my experience of playing ranked way too much.. I wasn’t trying to be mean or anything I just don’t want misinformation flying around and ppl getting the wrong idea
