A few quotes from the Health and Safety at work Act 1974. 1 Employers. The Work Act REQUIRES employers to ensure as reasonably practical the health safety and welfare of their employees while they are at work. 2.Employees. Employees MUST take responsibility for their own health and safety at work and be aware of how THEIR actions on compromising safety.
