Lukaku was born and raised in Belgium which is much closer to 100. The main factor in that difference in IQ is the fact that africans have nowhere near the same access to education as europeans. Scholes was the player most critical to Fergie’s successes at Man Utd. It is no coincidence that: - Fergie’s leanest period at Man Utd, from 1993 onwards, was 2003-06, when Scholes had injuries and issues with his vision. - As soon as Scholes retired, Man Utd’a midfield became mediocre. Their defence remained the same in the first season post Fergie, but the midfield was nothing without Scholes. - Every top player in his generation talks about him as one of the best central midfielders of all time. It is also a pleasure to see Berba’s humility in this interview. What a gent!

I was lucky enough to have a kickaround with Berbatov, Petrov and Stoichkov back in my holiday repping days. Berbatov owned an apartment at the hotel I was looking after in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. He would spend all day on the beach surrounded by what looked like models (like a boss), and occasionally wander up to the 5-a-side pitch to have a kickaround. One day I went along to watch him, and Petrov and Stoichkov are also there, so I borrowed a pair of shorts and trainers from a guest and invaded the pitch lol.

I can tell the best partner for Berba was Ulf Kirsten. Both simply never made the defenders guess who was the target man and who was the poacher. They assisted a lot to each other and it was from the time when Berbatov was still relatively fast. Both furious strikers and always ready to combine between each other. Too bad Ulf retired aged like... 27 I believe.

You know what , I am going to make some things clear. I am Bulgarian, I am obsessed with football and watched Berbatov as an 18-year old in CSKA Sofia. He was my idol, I watched all his games in Leverkusen, all his games in Tottenham, all his games in United and then on. But he changed in the past few years. I m not sure if he changed or he was like that all that time, but he changed for sure and a lot of people in Bulgaria are thinking it. And I say that cause I see here people saying "Oh he is a great guy" and stuff like that. I thought that too, but when he comes to Bulgaria he shows a different face maybe. A lot of examples: he retired from national team after just scorin his record breaking goal for Bulgaria. It shows that he cares only about himself, he was not a team player back then. He formed a small group of pplayers, those that were playing abroad, and it was so breaking the atmosphere in the team I couldnt believe that my idol was such a "small guy" outside of the football pitch. When he was coming to the national side to play a game, he was always complaining when someone passed the ball not right on his feet, and those complaints were only to players who didnt play in popular foreign clubs. He just walked out of the pitch against Serbia in a friendly game cause he again didnt like something. Just like a primadona and his football agent called the comentators of the television broadcasting the game to say good thigs about him, because they (the comentators) were obviously angry at him too. In MOnaco he was crying like a little girl to players not passing him the ball right, Bernardo SIlva even gave an interview telling about such a story, in PAOK he was trying to be the coach instead of Igor Tudor, the real coach, and we all know Igor Tudor but no matter who the coach was, Dimitar showed his lack of respect . Same with sir Alex Ferguson, I doubt he said in a conversation one-to-one the things he said to the bulgarian journalists on a pressconference in Sofia. I agree with Berba, he should have played in that final against Barcelona back in 2011, but thats not the way a man expresses his concerns or whatever. You are not going to the journalists in Bulgaria and say:"Mommy, mommy sir Alex did that...", right? And last thing I am going to give as an example, his stay in India- the same things happened, he said goodbye to his teammates with an Instagram story saying how awful David James as a coach has been. Every club after Monaco he has played in had a problem with his behaviour, thats what I am trying to say. And I am disappointed from Berbatov right since his departure from Monaco cause he changed and thats all... Things are not as they seem to be. Maybe he has problems with himself but not a reason to act like that

Great to see that!! That team would take some beating. Probably one of the few players I don't think Fergie quite figured out, but a truly unique style that I don't think can, or will ever be reproduced. What he went through with his family in Bulgaria, and still able to put on a shirt at the weekend afocussing on a game, in is of itself is a strength that one can only look up to with the upmost admiration.
