In the original Shrek book, he not only breathes fire like the excellent Flame of the Redmanes Ash of War, he also shoots lightning bolts and canonically "God hated him because he was so ugly". I actually did change the Commentary! I noticed I was focusing more on the movement between bosses (less interesting)than the boss fights (more interesting), so I made an effort to focus more on the fights!

I have a build suggestion but for a few reasons it doesn't quite fit with this series - Ains Ooal Gown from Overlord. There are a few things you can use for his spell selection and several Skeletal and Undead-adjacent spirit ashes you can use like Skeletal Bandit and Lhutel the Headless. You can also use the Mimic Tear and equip it with some heavy armor and 2 greatswords for when Pandora Actor shapeshifts into Ains' alter ego - Momon. The issues with this build and why it probably doesn't work for this series is that you will probably need to go to NG+ to make it more lore-accurate. Ains most frequently uses Death and Lightning Magic which are Sorcery and Incantation-exclusive. The Staves that most look like the one Ains has are the Lusat's and the Prince of Death and since these are the 2 most back-loaded catalysts in the game you are going to need some heavy stat-investment to deal good damage and since you will need good Int, you will also want to use the Golden Order Seal since it is basically the Incantation version of the Prince of Death Staff. And then there is the Pandora Actor as Momon via the Mimic tear. The GS that most looks like Momon's is the Marais Executioner's sword and there is only one of those in a New Game and it also scales only with stats you won't need for Ains's magic. The next best option is Banished Knight Oleg who is a good summon but his Fashion is all wrong. Honestly though, playing on NG+ with an over-leveled character makes a lot of sense for this character since the whole reason he is so powerful in his series is because he's playing a maxed-out character while everyone else is very low-level. It would be very on-brand for him to open the game by one-shotting the Grafted Scion with Frozen Lightning Spear or something like that. For the Elden Drip, I'm thinking Mohg's Robe, Royal Remains gauntlets and leggings and either the Royal Remains helmet since it's a Skull but it has hair or the Skeletal Mask since it comes with a Hood but not a skull-face.
