On my NG+5 or 6 run, I destroyed Maliketh with Tiche's Spirit Ashes AND the Godslayer Greatsword! It was funny as HELL! I was like:' I'm going to go for it!' It worked! The Gloam-Eyed Queen would have been pleased!

Fun fact: When you first enter the fire giant fight he doesn't immediately aggro on you , and if you have a mighty shot bow and stand just outside of his aggro range, you can shoot him , and he wont do anything about it, so if you have 99 rot, poison, and blood arrows you can kill him before the fight even starts.

@@skaynne54 I got greedy during the fight and wondered what would happen if I brought the boss down to zero health before triggering the cut scene. Surprisingly, the second phase of the fight started and had almost full health. I theorize that if you can get the boss's health low enough and then approach them while they are poisoned or rotted, the cut scene may trigger and that he will kill himself when he rips off his leg unfortunately I cannot do the “cheese” again because now the fog wall is up

honestly, I'm starting to think it's kind of why almost nothing is weak to holly and the endgame tend to be strong to it. Holy spells are really strong (except the legendary one), unique holy weapons are quite good (except the legendary one), holy AoW are generally very strong too.

I feel like some people don't know about the swamp power of ng+. Iirc in New game you get slowed by deep water, mud, lava etc. In ng+ you don't.

I know the set up for it would be a little more annoying and possibly time consuming but, have you ever thought of doing a Blaidd run? Start Vagabond, get the greatsword, infuse it with cold, wolf mask, then rush Ranni's Quest to get the rest of the gear. IMO, it's quite fun to run around as ER's best boy, and it'd be interesting to see Blaidd make his way into ER's secret classes

When fighting that first BKA if you wanna be a sneaky assassin, you can go down hte elevator into hte hero's grave, then come back up, back-stab, disengage, move to the elevator, rinse, repeat, easy kill with sneak attack

When I made an early run for the Black Knife, I detoured to the Cliffbottom Catacombs to hire a Kaiden Sellsword to help bully the Assassin who drops the knife; the fight still took a couple tries, but the Assassin isn't nearly as good at dodging against two people, and the Sellsword can ragdoll her, which allows for some pretty easy free hits. IMO, an assassin hiring a sellsword to help them in a fight seems pretty reasonable.

On those slow moving swamp portions where you're forced to slow walk, you can turn your character's back on where you want to go and then tap B/Circle to perform a quick hop backwards. It's significantly faster than walking. Works in lava too.

Could you use the teleporter chest in the Tower of Return in the Weeping Peninsula to get to Leyndell? If you use the tongue to bait invaders while you're standing by the elevator, then invaders can spawn at the bottom and use the lever to send the elevator up.

I'm on NG+4 and I keep going back to black knife assassin build. I enjoyed the dual Wing of asteel build, and sword ordovice sword stance break but I noticed I keep switching back to the Black knife build when I reach malenia, blade of miquella. Always revert back to the assassin build.
