Sal made a great point; ppl are far too comfortable substituting social media interaction for real face to face interactions these days. Which just leaves everyone even more disconnected & lacking in their communication skills..like Adam said social media is a great tool but can be abused like anything else.. you guys rock & always bring A1 content 💪🏾

I took melatonin for nearly 1 year every night to avoid insomnia. When I decided to stop taking it I struggled even more to fall asleep. Now I m fine but for a while I thought I was stuck with the 2 hour long wait for sleep. Kisses from France, loving what you do !!

Hey guys, this video is badly needed there is so much conflicting advice out there regarding weight loss and weight training. i have been struggling to understand what i need to do and this has impacted my weight loss/muscle building process. I am overwight and have just found your chanel this week and you guys have already had a massive impact on how I train and eat. I have improved my lifting posture, giving me better connection to the muscles when training and understanding that I should not try to cut as many calories as possible to lose weight but to feed my muscles what they need to grow. In doing this, it will take time but by prioritising protein and muscle I will gradually lose body fat without having an adverse effect on my metabolism if done correctly. I've been following for a week and I already feel the benefits and am keen to learn more. 🤘

Social media has regularly gotten me hurt in the gym because I’m in a huge rush to get into the shape I was when I first got married. I’m currently working my way through MAPS Starter in preparation for the birth of my first child in 7 weeks. I want to be an inspiration to him both in terms of fitness and nutrition because my parents raised me on fast food and candy and I’m still fighting the consequences of that to this day. You guys have been a huge help in getting me back on track so that I can be a good role model for my children. Thanks and I hope you have a fantastic weekend with your families.

You guys have been so helpful to me and so many people. I'm a working mom and working out full-body, three days a week has dramatically improved my mental and physical health. THANK YOU! And I was a SLAVE to social media and noticed it taking over my relationship with my husband and myself! I felt like I had to live up to this persona that I created and that people expected of me. Deleted all of the apps months ago and feel like my true self again. People (that I never even met) were upset that I stopped posting pics of my baby 🤯 Anyway, love you guys!

Hey guys, been watching your videos for about a year now. I just wanted to thank you all for the massive impact you guys have had on my life. I found my love for lifting at my lowest point in life last year and I've really looked up to you guys as guides throughout this entire journey. For the past few months I have been hitting some plateus on my lifts and I have been vehement about taking my weight training skills to the next level. This lead to literally a few days ago where I said fuck it, these guys are the best at what they do, and when I have enough money, I am going to put my full faith into MAPS Anabolic and stick to an actual program. However, as a broke college student who invests as much as I can in eating high-quality foods, it'll probably be ~2 months until I can comfortably afford MAPS Anabolic program. You guys have already changed my outlook on how to make fitness/nutrition a lifestyle, so it would truly mean the world to me if you considered selecting me for the giveaway. Even if not, seriously, thank you guys for dedicating yourselves to changing people's lives and spreading the most complete workout content there is.

Tried for years to address my lazy right lat/left hip. Nothing worked until one night while laying in bed, I tried isometic holds. It has been a game changer, especially in the way it has made me aware of the other muscles involved in maintaining a functional oblique sling.

I am 34 years old, started my fitness journey at 31. The first 2 years i think I implemented as much bad information as humanly possible. The last 5 months or so, I have only implemented information I’ve gotten from Mind Pump. Holy shit, what a damn difference. I have seen more gains in 5 months than the previous 2 1/2 years combined

I wasted way too much time on Facebook. It felt great to finally detach myself from it. I haven't been on in years and don't regret it. Instagram was the next culprit stealing my time. I'd derive some benefit from these platforms, of course, keeping in touch with some friends and learning some creative exercises and stuff like that, but I found it just wasn't worth it to me. When I got a new phone, I didn't reinstall instagram and I feel so much more clear and focused and glad I no longer have the temptation to mindlessly scroll through the feeds. Unfortunately, most people around me still spend a lot of their time on these platforms. It brings them happiness, which is good, but I feel there are so many more fulfilling and gratifying ways to spend time.

My wife and I are loving Anabolic so far. Stability and mobility are improved drastically. I’ve been working on my squat a lot and because of that my deadlift has exploded. I’ve added about 20 lbs to my squat in my 1-4 reps and my deadlift went up about 70 lbs. Some of that is newbie gains and some muscle memory but better stability and mobility is a huge difference maker.

Totally agree about humans wanting the challenge of something. I get it from weather. I love extremes from when it was 140 in Afghanistan to 5 below 0 during cold weather training in upstate NY. (I even went snow camping in Washington State) I loved the "man v. nature" aspect of it. Also agree about people not wanting to implement dips in their workout if they can't move their own body weight. I used a weight assisted dip/pull-up machine and was able to go from 50% of my body weight down to no assistance in just a couple months. Next step is weighted dips. One of the things you didn't mention about artificial sweeteners is the carcinogenic effect. I used to drink a shit-ton of Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper but gave them both up in favor of unsweetened tea and sparkling water.

I started my strength training journey almost a year ago now. I've been loving your podcast! My body has changed so much by sticking to basic compound movements and focusing on increasing the weight. People keep asking what my secret is. And I tell them...lifting heavy! Not so secret I guess. Put in the work and results will follow.

My first time getting into weight lifting I was also doing the keto diet at the same time as a 5x5 routine. I went from 220lbs down to 175 and it was definitely not sustainable even though I have not gained it back 4 years later. But my gains were by no means impressive and after 2-3 months found that I was slowly not able to lift as much. I was also exhausted after my gym sessions. I'm glad I have found your programs because they are so much more sustainable and I am seeing continuous progress.

I have been watching this podcast for a while now. And I love it mostly because the information is consistent and detailed. I am a 150 kg. and I went to gyms many times and evrey time the trainers would say do cardio which is which after a month or two I would quit because they dont know how much its difficult for a 150 kg to do cardio. Then I saw your podcast for the first time and it did make a lot of since to me. and for the first time I am excited to go to the gym. I am seeing results, feel great and strong and energiesed. The best thing is that if I need info or I have a problem I will for sure find the answer for it in Mind Pump

Impact of social media?... I work for a major university. Been using the school's fitness facilities for 30 years. Biggest change I have seen is the number of young women involved in resistance training. Their form and technique are impeccable. So is their exercise selection. When I ask them "where did you learn to lift, and why"? they all say the same. They learned via social media and they learned because they didn't want to look foolish in front of the guys (then I ask them if they realize they are better lifter than most of the guys).

Interesting on the melatonin topic. We have some friends who give melatonin gummies to their daughter EVERY night to make/help her get sleep. I’ve always wondered if that’s healthy. It seems like it’ll eventually backfire on her one day and really jack with her quality of sleep.

Melatonin is a negative feedback, which means you don’t detriment you own secretion of the substance, Ben Greenfield did a great podcast about it several weeks ago so I recommend you guys take a listen to learn about it… I take up to 200 mg and do great

Melatonin supplements do not cause a feedback loop to my knowledge. I looked into it when I began working as baker. My shift starts 12am 5 days a week. So unfortunately keeping good sleep hygiene requires a 2pm bedtime.

Well yeah It's been proven time and time again that it does a number for mental health cause nearly everywhere you look it's either people talking about how life is so terrible or people compare their lives to people who "have it all"while that have nothing Physical health wise, I think it depends where you look. You either find stuff like you guys just trying to educate everyone for the sake of their health or you come across people that preach the most unhealthy habits you'll ever hear
