My 20oz Ghost denim jeans have been fantastic from SoSo. They came out measured super close to the style I picked with my only custom measurement change being a slightly larger cuff to fit over boots easier. Been enjoying my jeans so much that I ordered myself a 25oz jacket from SoSo and it came out great. I designed a super simple jacket with small outside pockets and two large inside ones. No chest pockets and dark hardware with dark stitching. I also increased the length 1 inch as I find other jean jackets a little short on my torso. So far I have have been really happy with their stuff.

I would love a follow up on this. I had seen this already before, yet also gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered three garments from them. I did go pretty wild on the features, so very anxious to see what they will come up with.

Ok, two garments have just arrived and straight off the bat the quality and finish looks really good. Flat felled seams, tucked belt loops and they did sew the leather patch only at the top and bottom without even asking! So looks like they have listened to you! They even made stitching along the sides so it looks like it is sown down, but it isn't! The fit of the jacket is really next level, absolutely like a tailored piece, no hanging shoulders, excellent arm length, just like I ordered! So far so good, but may they have upped their game. Looks like some customization is dropped to increase their quality level, which is a bit a shame, but it is also sensible.

Nice review from the positive and negative angles. I’ve had mostly great experiences with them. There have been a couple flaws were a detail was forgotten or a part was off, but for me it’s worth it because of how much customization there is since I’m very picky about why style. SoSo has been pretty responsive when I’ve brought up things if they caught something during QA.

SoSo is a no-go. They do whatever. They have no identity. Their workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. Go with Ruttloff, Viapiana, Companion, Kruize, Black Horse Lane, Hiut, Dawson, Conners - very different, except they all are independent makers who put heart and soul and mind into their stuff. SoSo is just rubbish IMO or an entry point garment. I am very sorry I have nothing good to say about them, only that they do undercut the game with prices. So-so - that's it. My two cents. Biased AF. I think they are a good option for shirts and jackets. I don't get the point of custom fit jeans anyway when there are generally multiple cuts in every brand. But shirts and jackets on the other hand...I don't know many companies that offer more than 1 fit, sometimes reg and slim. So custom for shirts and jackets is very useful. Are there better options for shirts and jackets with custom measurements. Yeah, but definitely not in this price range. And sub $200 is all a lot of people can justify for a shirt.

Sounds like topcs and outerwear are more consistent than the jeans. And yes to the sizing pictures looking way off feom the listed measurements, which themselves sound super skinny and tapered. (size 26-28 can have 5-6" leg opening on a less "skinny" fit?? Wild to me.) Have you bought a jean size base that wasn't more slim than the Relaxed Ralph? And did you make any custom measurements on them? I want to avois adding custom sizing where possible, but the seemingly high tapered measurements are scaring me off e.g. i want to get the classic regular fit that has all my preferred dimensions except for the highly tapered knee, thigh, and esp leg opening

Did you ask to make the hem/leg opening bigger? I just bought a pair today and requested the leg opening to be 9” instead of the 8.3” so it can be a little “baggier” because heavy weight wide leg denim is so hard to find

I bought a jacket about 2 years ago and I'm wearing it right now, in my bed haha. I think itll be a part of my wardrobe until it falls apart. It gets a little small when i wash it but looks pretty good after the arms relax.

Same experience for me. Soso order received today (9 weeks instead of the advertised 6), not a single one of the measurements are correct. I measured a pair of jeans I owned that I wanted to replicate in Soso denim, picked their style and size that had the closest measurements, altered all the ones that were off by more than 1/4" or so. The result: some of the measurements are off by well over an inch. Even the measurements I did not alter are off. All the other details are on point, but based on their own charts the wait band is a solid 3 sizes larger than what I ordered. Waiting to hear back from them right now.

I can't imagine the frustration on those custom jeans. Were they responding to you so well because of KZbin or were you anonymous? I've been looking for info on their shirts if you need a reason to do a video and buy more clothes lol

Scam ! The jeans are produced in Bangkok ! They are asking 103,50€ of taxes to get the package ! Nothing is Swedish about them

Yo, they do state on their website that the actual work on the denim is done in Thailand and that they are shipped from there. So how exactly is it their fault, when you are subjected to the usual tariffs associated with buying shit from outside EU?
