SC is made up of more than one person. Ryan is only reading scripts most of the time and usually tells you who actually wrote it at end of the video. Yes some titles are click/ragebait but they often end up actually defending whatever property they're talking about and present both sides of the argument. It's not like there aren't channels out there saying these things, if there weren't there's be no need for the titles in the first place

@@Pigeoncaster443 I wasn't saying the titles defend the property they're talking about, I was saying that Ryan and whoever he's hosting with/whoever wrote the script usually end up defending it. Tell us, where in this video did anybody actually say they think Star Wars is dead or that they didn't love the show? Did Ryan not himself say, "No amount of Star Wars is too much for me"? The title gets you to click. The video itself then disproves what the title says. How do you not get how this works. If the title said, "This new Star Wars show is GREAT!" then it wouldn't get nearly half the amount of views, which is why a channel exists in the first place, and it wouldn't help disprove the narrative nearly every other channel is saying about Star Wars and Marvel being "dead". Point being, Screen Crush doesn't actually think Star Wars is dying and if you'd actually watched the video(s) you'd get that

@sandal_thong86317 сағат бұрын
I wouldn't call it child neglect. The boy is old enough to feed himself, wash and dress himself and make it to the school bus on time, supposedly. This is about the age when kids can reflect on their own actions and have more responsibility. Not only that, but they felt it was safe for the kids to wander the neighborhood and be "latchkey kids." There was a story last week about a mom being charged with endangerment for letting her kid walk into town. What's the message? Keep your kid on a short leash and under supervision at all times? I don't agree with that. For those who agree with this, then there were "safety droids" going around looking for truants.

I liked _Explorers_ but I didn't see _The Goonies_ until years later. I also didn't see _E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial_ at the movies, but a couple years later on home video, I think. One of my favorites is Henry Thomas in _Cloak & Dagger._ He plays games about spy vs. spy, but then gets involved in a real spy story, with his and his friend's lives on the line. He knows that shooting people for real has consequences, and the story deals with that. It's possible our main character, Wim, might have to point a blaster at someone and pull the trigger. Fern wasn't able to do it. Only one of them seems to really want to go home, Neel. Perhaps the others might want to do something else as the series progresses, especially if going home puts their world in danger.

Why can’t a kid’s story be “for” our demographic as 30-year-olds? We need to learn to access our inner child; a lot of wonder and compassion and joy will begin to flow naturally. These kids acted great! Lighting and Cinematography is “grown up” (as opposed to the sitcom/Hannah Montana televised stage play styles.) In fact, we ARE the kids! We are fans of Jedi lore, we dream(ed) of adventure, we (still!) play with “swords,” we dress up, we are bored of suburbia. I posit this is still very much for us as adults.

As was stated on the first review of episode 1, this is similar to the movie "The Explorers" from the 80's. I feel this is a fun series mostly, and properly, geared towards a younger fanbase with enough punch parents can enjoy. Sadly the numbers or buzz might be low due to how Disney has presented previous works. In my humble opinion, the best they have done since owning the property has been Rogue One, Andor, The Mandolorian, and this show. Asohoka is ok. This series, so far, does have moments that make one wants to slap the child characters but most kids programming is like that. I personally feel this is the way.... Disney has messed over this franchise on numerous occasions but this a gem.

I know you’re doing this for the views and comments but you’ll lose out in the long run. You going for the Star Wars theory route? Have fun with the crappy “fans” because that’s what clickbait titles will get you. Stick to the breakdowns.

I grew up with these 80s movies, and I really enjoyed a new approach to the Star Wars universe. However, it gave me a great sense of nostalgia in being that kid who played with the action figures and played in forests pretending to be a Jedi.

I literally said "It's Goonies in space" after the first episode. I'm liking it

Totally correct about Skeleton Crew, it’s a Win! I’m a 45 yr old Dad and love watching with my 11 and 9 year olds. 👍🏻

Disney informed me that my annual fee was about to double. Yada yada, I quit Disney+.

Listen Screen crush these clickbait titles dont help, they just stoke the fires and cause division. The show is decent. If this shit doesnt stop im definitely gonna be unsubbing.

This show seems to understand what makes Star Wars work (playing with toys) but more importantly it definitely understands what makes pirates work (big hats, eye patches)

As long as the show tries to tell a coherent satisfying story and doesn't try to set a universe or sequels or spinoffs it might be fine, I haven't watched it but in my defense I didn't know it existed until the breakdown video pop up in my feed

As an adult starwars fan I have to theories. 1) the show wasnt well advertized I found out the show was out because I saw your analysis was out. 2) I wasn't sure if I was going to watch it because I wasn't sure if I would be the target audience. I thought it was going to be more kid oriented.

Heather is correct. I didn't even know it released until i saw the alert from your easter egg video. Yes i knew it was coming, but never saw any alerts. And I am in the Disney app all the time.

Skeleton Crew is pretty cool. So was Acolyte, Kenobi, Ahsoka, Mandalorian, Fett. Any SW show is a good SW show. Just don't let Ruin Johnson by it!

Skeleton Crew is amazing. Those kids rule, the show is nearly perfect.

Maybe measuring everything from the pandemic high water mark of streaming isn’t the best idea This show is fun and will grow

People don't like the a new star wars show? Shocking 🙄. Let me guess. The show contradicted some small part of legends no one has ever cared about and it's getting dog piled? Or is it that it's a kids show a bunch of adults say lacks depth?

It`s ok, but is it for my fangroup? (Hard core fans from Lucas era). I think it was ok, better than Acolity(but thats nothard). I don`t think my group asked for this. We want darker SW lore for example Dark Plagueis, old republic.

We don’t see the levels of excitement we used to because we are getting a steady stream of media. That’s naturally going to be the case. I know KZbin video titles/subjects like this get hits, but it’s also an example of the internet becoming unnecessarily negative.

There’s literally decades of comics and books that deviate from the skywalkers and are phenomenal. If only Disney USED THE LEGENDS SOURCE MATERIAL, we would have so much to explore.

I think the biggest issue was marketing. Other than review channels like this posting vids, I would've had zero idea this show was out. Even now, haven't seen a single ad.

Prediction at timecode 00:01: Screen Crush reviewing a Disney content with a "Is it bad?" Clickbate, Ryan Arey will say it's looking bad and end up telling everyone it's the most exciting thing ever. Time code:32:33 cocnlusion: What do you know, he covered all the Disney talking point. Seriously, the sponsor bit was the least terrible part of this. Screen Crush, a New Rockstars company.

If this is truly a kid's show, and it is because my 7 year old loved the second episode... It's being released on school nights. And I think people might be planning to binge on the Xmas break.
