Still using v5, waiting for v7 to see where S1 is going. 6 and 6.5 were okay but not worth it IMHO. I would enjoy the lyrics track but, eh, not that bigga deal. I got Word, lol. I admit I'm not a power user, more old skool coming from Cakewalk kind of guy. I don't even use macros. So we'll see, but most DAWs are just improving around the edges anymore. Pretty much they can do whatever we need.

I use Serato Studio to get ideas started for beats and then transfer them over to Studio One to polish, arrange, mix and master them. This is an ideal workflow at the moment for me.

I got the upgrade as it is on sale till 31st dec..the only reason i got it cause i found the upgrade price from artist 6 to pro cheaper..honestly , i think it was a great deal but i can see a pro 5 users wont find the 6 upgrade much appealing , as there are two many usless new features that we will ever use..but it's a pretty solid DAW.. You get everything you will ever need.

Ironic that i was ponding this question just as this popped up in my feed. I have been a fan of Studio One guess I'm updating because i think this DAW overall is Awesome by just what it does.

I regret upgrading to 6 because I honestly dont use any features in it & dont see myself using any features from 6.5 in the near future. All I use Studio One for is to record, mix & master even tho im originally a beat maker. I love Studio One & I dont want to switch DAWS but im ready to start back making beats & Studio One gives me no inspiration to do so smh.

I may cancel my Studio One plus account & go back to 5 or a new DAW & get the new FL Studio. All I wish Studio One would do is upgrade Impact XT, Sample One & the step sequencer, or just something new from beat makers. I'm wondering if them selling to Fender a while back is the reason they are falling so far behind.

Not sure about the timing of these features you’re speaking of however this is a common feature request from a bunch of us and so we all are wondering if this will ever happen.

They are taking too long with features that we end up getting from 3rd party plugins. Vocoder and dynamic EQ is 10 yrs late. I'm staying on 5 pro till 8.
