Is switching from QA To DevOps good for future?

Hi AMIT ..thanks for this insights. I am in QA for last 10 years mostly in automation UFT SLEENIUM AND TEST COMPETE . Now wanted to switch to QA devops ..pls help me out how to switch to devops , currently in my organization there is no devops implementation. How to learn and from where to start and is there any online course you can recommend ..pls let me know ..will be a great help ..thanks 🙏

Hi , Can you please Clarify... Is it not possible to switch from QA Manual to DevOps having 4+ yrs of complete experience in Manual Testing? If we do a switch into DevOps in new company by doing self study and giving interviews, Are they (new MNC company) going to check and do a BGV that whether if we are really have worked in DevOps and have real time work experience ? What to do when we have the title has "Quality Engineering Analyst" in previous experience letter and we are aiming for DevOps role Will it lead to any impact incase if we joined the company showing as DevOps having experience in Manual testing later like termination or something

Thank you sir for this... sir, i have a query, when u say, learn to Automate things means, u are implying to "automation testing only " or there is something more to it? If yes, what is that something else and how to learn that? What is and How to learn automation scripting? Is , automation testing and automation script writing, both exactly same? How to learn automation ? Sir, I am from a non-i.t. branch , so pls forgive me for asking these very basic questions, it may seem basic question to others, but i think there are many beginners (from non i.t.background) like me😔,who have these kind of queries related to automation .. sir,.thank you again..

Yes Automation Testing means writing Automation Scripts. Now there are different levels of Automation. QA Automation is related to testing. But there can be CI/CD which is automation of Continous Integration and Continous Delivery of Software. You can automate processes. Those things are different. You just focus on QA Automation and master it. Later you can think about other areas of automation.
