Cigarette lighter port. 12V. Steps down to 5V USB cable. You could power either one with a standard 12v USB converter and a mini USB cable.

Does it have to stay plugged in to work/record even though it has an internal battery?

They're not designed for use unplugged. They will work for a short time for the parking setting. So they can come on and record while parked if a motion is detected. I didn't try that feature, because I probably won't use it.

The lines are caused by the htz chosen. I saw you need to put on 50 htz not 60. That should help the lines. Also camera setting is in menu to lighten or darken images. Also you can switch to color on the camera too.

clearly states in the directions that if you have those lines in your camera to reformat the camera with the SD card and it will eliminate that problem... My question is how do you turn on the LEDs for the cabin camera...

The data storage has nothing to do with a clear hardware issue. As of today, the inside cam no longer works at all.

That belt sander is neat. Didn't even know they made ones so small - that'd be perfect for apartment dwellers like myself. Those cameras are a bit iffy, but still... those pries are pretty ridiculous. It's almost like a modern version of a disposable camera.

Those bench tools are awesome!!! My tip on off brand chinese digital products. Not reliable. Guitar pedals, cameras, or anything with digital circuits id stay clear if you want them to last.

Be nice to know how to change date/time and replay video. How to actually find the menu.

I figured out the date and time. Press and hold the M button (MODE), and a menu screen will come on. Continue to press the mode button to scroll through until you get to Date/Time. Press the power button to get to the month to the right of the screen. Press either of the arrow buttons to set the month. Press the power button to move to the date. Press either arrow button to set the date. Press the power button to get over to the year. Use the arrow button to set. Press power to get to hour, press arrows to set. Press power button to get to minutes, set with arrow button and press power to get to the seconds. Press the MODE button to get back to the menu at the right. Hope that helps. I still have to figure out the playback.

To playback the videos, it's quite simple. Short press M button 2x. Use the up or down button to select the video & hit the power button to play. If you want to delete the video hold the menu button until the delete options appear. Use the arrows to select options and the power button to carry out said option.

I bought a cheap wireless camera that claimed to have night vision. Like yours; it looked like it had LED night vision lights around the lens. Mine did nothing in complete darkness so I took it apart. It had places for the light emitting diodes but inside they were missing! Either a total scam or that factory worker was slacking off the day he assembled mine, Banggood did give me a refund even though I would rather had them just send me a working unit.
