Ten Mile Creek is a 4.2 mile out and back hike near the small town of Lowman Idaho, located in the greater Boise area. This hike makes for a great day trip, or weekend backpack. The Boise National Forest offers a stunning landscape and you will find a beautiful natural hot spring along the way. Grab the family or do a solo backpack for maximum social distancing!

I’ve stayed at 10 Mile a good number of times. Great access, not many neighbors at times, and a great variety of surroundings. I hiked up the trail once but went up hill rather than staying along the creek. Guess that’s why I never found the hot springs. 😂

O man I almost added that part to the video! There is a little path I want to say .6 miles in that turns you uphill and takes you along the ridge. I shot it while I was out there, but edited it out for time. Yea that's why you didn't find the hot springs!

Tried to find the hiking path yesterday with no success. We continued on Ten Mile Creek Road until we came to a crossing at Ten Mile Creek that was impassable. You mentioned a spur road - is that off of Ten Mile Creek Road that gets you across the creek to the north side?

You went too far. You were on the right road. You cross Ten Mile on the trail, but you don't even see it before starting the hike. You cross the bridge over the Payette and from there the spur trail is 1 mile down on your left hand side, marked with a crudely drawn arrow on a tree.
