I got my EVGA GTX 1070 ti in December 2018 brand new for $359.99 total cost and my wife said I was a lunatic for spending that much. Now a refurbished one is going for $799 lol, who has the last laugh now? I wish I didn't sell my EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB SSC Gaming ACX 2.0+ Cooling Graphics Card to a friend for $100, they are going for close to $400 now.

i still have a zotac 1070ti mini that i bought at launch. paired with an i7-7700k its decent at 1440p and does really well 1080p/144 hz. even though i want something capable of ray-tracing i just cant justify upgrading with the current prices. its ridiculous right now.

I bought my 1070ti used for 350$ 2 1/2 yrs ago to replace my GTX570, definitely got my money's worth but man I can't justify an upgrade for how overpriced cards are. I want to go back to 1440p 120hz+ but it's just not reasonable now lol

Upgraded my RX470 to this exact model (FTW2) back in 2019 for 2/3 of it's MSRP in my country! Got it for 1080p, it's a beast! Just got a Ryzen 3600X, gotta get a 120hz monitor now ;)

For anyone that comes across this, I have ryzen 2700 (non x) running stock clock 16g 3200 and this same 1070ti overclocked to 2050, I run cod cold war @ 1440p all max settings and see 90+ fps. So if you have any doubts on a budget I can say from expirece that these cards are still quit capable of providing a stellar gaming experience

@@MoXy69YT I just recently sold the system so I can't look at the load, I ran it on a 550 gold. I would however at this point recommend going over kill and getting atleast a 750 if you can. That will allow you the headspace for upgrading to a 30 series or better card at some point in the future without the hassle of swapping out psu's

YEAH. I'm still rocking a 6 year old build based on an i5 4690, although with a recent upgrade (in 2018) to a ZOTAC overclocked 1070Ti, (very close to GTX1080 performance) and today in 2021, it stills plays most AAA games at high to very high settings in 1080 with a minimum of 60fps. Slightly older games can go up to 1440 with similar fps, and some even older source based games (like Left 4 Dead for example) can do 4K 60fps+ no problem, maxed out. I'm glad I got it when I did... These cards are easily twice as much as I paid for mine now.

!7 6700, gtx 1070ti, three 1tb ssd drives, 32gigs of ram (got a good deal on them, 16 would have been plenty) and a 8tb mech HD for extra storage. Coming up on 5 years old and still going strong. I won’t be buying a new system till all the prices go down,,, if it ever does lol. Oh and I’ll keep windows 10 till it becomes unsupported.

Oh yeah! it's still really good, even with a 6 year old CPU. I'm using a i7-4790k, 1070 Ti SC, 860 Evo 1Tb SSD, 16Gb Ram DDr3 1688mhz, on a 144 hz monitor and i can play pretty much anything on high to ultra. I get the same frames as this video pretty much. Still haven't tried cyberpunk 2077 yet, but i will be soon =)

Built a medium range gaming rig last year. Bought it minimally used from a close friend for 350e (not the best timing in terms of price but...). Minor OC to +175 on CPU clock, +1400 on mem clock , can do better when I improve the cooling. Paired with a ryzen 5 3600X. Overwatch runs on 2560x1440 on Ultra settings at 120 fps (capped, uncapped its ~145 avg). Modern games run decently, almost all of them at 60fps minimum with high settings. Missing the RTX though, will be upgrading to a 2070ti, hoping the prices will drop more when 30xx come into stock

@@MoXy69YT I'm not too sure but I think you'll get full performance from 500w, but it will be right at the limit probably, my 450w test bed was maxed out but my cx650 handles it with ease. Try a few psu calculators online, but this card is solid as a rock thus far

Nothing compares to a STRIX variant.Simply the fastest and coolest - in terms of temps - variant on par with 1080. I am fine for a couple of years still.

(Above or Below) - To my experience, A dual fan will always disagree hard and fast like a Newtons law to the fact that a card really can overclock or perform over its actual potential and your AMP! certainly does not have that quality because I have been there and done that.

1070ti with 2600x 16gb ram 3000mhz Microsoft flight simulator 2020 just about anywhere I get 45 average fps, it dips to the high 30s in denser areas. Medium settings High settings are more appropriate for cruising at altitude with averages of 50 to 60 ( around the same on medium) . I would like to note that msfs devours 16 gb of ram in some instances. Figured I'd leave my $ .02 Edit:I wish sli was still a thing cause I've got a second 1070ti as a backup lol

I think the ram is a bottleneck, because when I play MSFS I also use 100% of my 16Gb of ram and I only get about 28ish fps in VR but my gpu and cpu usage is less than 30% (Ryzen 7 1700x and this 1070ti)
