What a throw back memory. Sat in 1993 in a white Supra at a dealership, what impressed me the most was the cockpit feeling sitting in the driverseat and the swooping dashboard section towards the driver (shotgun passanger is a peasant😂). Couldn't afford it back than with my student income, can't afford now either with the iconic pricing stature they have. I did buy after that my very first car back than, a 2nd hand 1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. The Supra was a supercar killer back than. Congrats on that very clean looking Supra. 🤗

The Japanese one was also 320hp. They lied about performance values because of regulations in 90s Japan. Also I believe the Japanese one weighs less because they had less safety laws with the thickness of panels.

Great score Joe ! All original in the best spec; turbo, no wing, hardtop. Yeah the mk4 turbo was the king of the road back then, in all the Japanese, American and European cars. I own a '88 mk3 supra turbo since 2002 and loving it, fully restored and modded by me. Currently undergoing forging the engine internals. Comparing to the mk4, the mk3 have better seats(more bolster and more comfy), actually has an oil pressure and turbo gauges, and better looking steering wheel without the air bag 😉

Joe Raiti you can change the exhaust/intake/BOV/downpipe/intercooler w/o taking any penalty on originally cuz you could just bolt all the original stuff back on, just leave turbos stock & run a super conservative tune. Adding 100whp is no sweat & just takes the Supra dial & cranks it up a bunch
