About the 4-leaf clover badge: Respectfully, you've got the story wrong (fantastic video - as usual - otherwise :)). In 1923, the Alfa Romeo official drivers were Alberto Ascari, Giulio Masetti, Enzo Ferrari (yes, THAT Enzo Ferrari) and a guy by the name of Ugo Sivocci. Sivocci was a supremely talented driver that would often dominate races but then something would happen to the car - he never won, and the general consensus was that lady luck just wasn't on his side. This changed for the 1923 Targa Florio race, for which Sivocci painted a four-leaf clover - symbol of good luck - within a white diamond shape, its four corners commemorating each of the four drivers. It so happened that Sivocci finally won this race. Tragically, Sivocci was killed at Monza later that year, while testing a car that did NOT have the diamond badge - Thereafter racing Alfas were decorated with the now familiar triangle shape - no longer a diamond, as one corner was removed to honor the fallen driver. IIRC, while racing Alfas always sported this, one would occasionally see a "regular" Alfa Romeo vehicle with it - I'm not 100% certain, or course, but I don't particularly recall it being reserved only for the high-performance models, and I believe it wasn't until relatively recently that this changed. Hence, even if there was no such thing as a "QV 4C," some 4C owers would honor the brand's history that way.
@KevinHale-y2t2 ай бұрын
There was a Quad 4c and it has the same motor and track package. So if you got mods during purchase slap that badge on no guilt. Everyone in the community has zero issues with it. .

Raiti dawg, Love you bro but lots of mis info in here.... Regarding Alfa's logo.... The red cross From the emblem of Milan, and a reference to the red cross worn by medieval Milanese soldiers during the Crusades. The Visconti serpent From the coat of arms of the Visconti family, who ruled Milan in the 14th century. The serpent is eating a man, which is known as a Biscione and was a symbol of the Visconti family. The crown on the serpent may represent the Viscontis gaining a dukedom in the 15th century Regarding the Quad logo The four-leaf clover, or Quadrifoglio Verde, became Alfa Romeo's racing logo after Italian driver Ugo Sivocci painted one on his car before the 1923 Targa Florio race: The clover Sivocci was known for his technical skill but was often unlucky in races, earning him the nickname "I'eterno secondo" or "the eternal second". To bring himself good luck, he painted a green four-leaf clover inside a white square on the side of his car. The win Sivocci's luck paid off, and he won the race. The tragedy Sivocci died in a crash during practice for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza later that year. His car was rushed to the track and didn't have the clover painted on it. The symbol The Alfa Romeo factory began decorating all of its racing cars with the cloverleaf starting in 1924. To honor Sivocci, the white square was replaced with a triangle to represent his absence Regarding the "C" in 4 C The "C" in the name of the Alfa Romeo 4C stands for cilindro, which is Italian for "cylinder". The name of the car is a combination of the number of pistons and the letter C, which is in line with Alfa Romeo's past naming conventions. The 4C also refers to the car's straight-four engine. Also the "A" in DNA is "Advanced Efficiency"...not AUTOMATIC🤣 In addition, this car has TONS of aftermarket carbon do-hickey's added on and the Alpine stereo is completely aftermarket as well as the exhaust. Finally, you mentioned "reliability"...I hate to destroy the cliché, but Alfas are very dependable....Cost of maintenance on this car is the concern. Those are two radically different issues. This car is essentially a $50,000 street legal track car super car ! Carbon fiber tub with two aluminum sub frames bolted on !! There really is NO CHASSIS...It's an affordable McLaren is the only way to look at it. Peace out dawg and FORZA ALFA BABY !!

I’ve had my 4C since 2015. It’s the most engaging car I’ve ever driven but it’s flawed. The original sub 2000 pound weight was missed by several hundred pounds in Europe and a porker 500 lbs in North America. While the car is still quick, it’s nowhere near what it could have been. The extra weight also adversely affected steering causing it to tramline due to its near zero castor geometry.

Besides the fact lot of things you talk about are aftermarket modifications. That Alpine radio, surely Alfa Romeo won't design a car this beautiful to have a screen blocking the vents.
