Best part concerning the rear seating with the seats up my German Shepard has a lot of room which is very easy on the driver I have a 2018 lariat that is super loaded drives unbelievable so many options it’s been 2 years I still don’t know all of them had I been younger I would have bought the raptor but my lariat is the best vehicle I have owned in 45 years of driving an I can’t imagine a better one ever being made well done FORD

Power seats are standard, glad you caught that and 17 (Gen2's) was the first year for the Raptor to be 500lbs lighter (than the Gen1's, 2010-2014).

And believe it or not, depending on how you drive the Gen 1's you can still get pretty good fuel economy despite that extra 500 pounds. I've got the 2010 with the V8 6.2 and I have gotten 15.8 mpg's as a "daily driver" but it also depends on your tire pressure as well. I keep between 64.5 and 65 psi and it does make a huge difference on the highway drives. Short trips will kill any fuel economy but overall I am happy with the fuel mileage. I've also got a fuel saving sticker on my rear window that reads "not fast just loud" I usually keep it between 55 and 60, but I've had to give it the beans a time or two and it will stomp the yard when necessary.

@Ike N Close. Truck is for utility purposes (i.e moving, going dirt biking, camping, etc), Navigator is for family. GT500 is daily driver, GT is for dates and special occasions, Aviator is for the wife.

I have a 20 Raptor Supercrew in the Leadfoot color. Really liking it so far. I was looking at the Chevy trail boss at first but because it’s nothing more than a Silverado with a spacer lift and all the GM issues I had with my ZR2 I decided to pass on it.

A solid profile on the new Raptor, you covered it well! For that kind of money they should have kept the V-8, Ford is obsessed with small displacement motors now & with the turbo they just won't last as long as a V-8. Many simply prefer American tried & proven V-8's. I think the Ram has the best half ton truck, power, great looks & options.

And actually if you pull commercial/fleet sales out of that, they are 3rd in sales. And the only reason they lead in commercial/fleet is because for 34 of those 42 years they offered trucks the cheapest, by over 2.3k per truck. It’s a simple numbers game with money when it comes to business purchases. You measure the actual numbers of trucks sold to a typical consumer and the numbers required by them (hp, torque, interior, etc). Ford is either in last or second last.

Glad I found your channel ! Real quality content. I was battling raptor vs rebel myself and went with the 19 rebel 12, need that V8. You have to review a 2020 rebel or limited. Makes the raptor interior looks ancient, holding off till they come out with the V8 once again.

They're big, but they look bigger than they actually are, and surprisingly don't struggle with tighter roads. It's all about the confidence of the driver themselves which is the problem... rich folks who can't drive for shit buy them to look cool when they have no clue on how to maneuvre trucks like this.
