The Sonata for those few years did have that problem and Hyundai did extend their warranty from 100,000 to 120,000 miles to make good on that issue. So far this is the best 2020 Sonata review out there.... I like the camera angle showing the driver's point of view from behind the wheel. The exterior and interior styling on this vehicle are top notch. My only minor complaints are: I would prefer physical needles for the main gauges (Speedo, Tach, Fuel, Temp). I would also prefer a traditional shift lever instead of Hyundai's push button shift mechanism. These aren't deal breakers, and if I was impressed by a test drive I would still strongly consider purchasing this car. I believe Raiti's Rides also test drove the Accord and Camry. I don't know what to say! That's a Hyundai? My mind's blown! I wanna know how Honda accord owners feel about this Hyundai Sonata,The fact that different engine options will be available, plus all these features the car comes with and stunts it performs,Hyundai are really changing the rules here!,Everybody has to step up their game or get kicked to the curb! Nice job Joe Raiti.....I'm glad sedans are not being treated like unwanted step-children by ALL the car makers. If you try to explain to the average car-buyer why sedans drive and handle better than crossovers or pickups they just give you a blank stare! I love my coupes and sedans! Mazda, Honda, Hyundai, and even Toyota have really classed up the segment....from both a styling and performance standpoint.

I haven't drived any of those cars yet but I've seen those three already and I could say the Sonata has the very unique and sleek design, interior and exterior. Its more of a combination of elegance and sporty. The most attractive part of the Sonata is the headlights.

@@f181234 look it up, CRV's taillights are blatant RIP OFF of Volvo SUVs, Accord's taillights also remind me of Volvo S90's taillights. My point is everyone's borrowing some elements from each other on car designs but you guys here relentlessly looking to flaw Hyundai/Kia is plain pitiful.

That front and rear spoiler is very i30 Fastbackish. I wonder if they are going to put in the same 2L Turbo like in every N model so far. The N will most likely come with a dual exhaust system like every N.

‘19 Camry xse’s 4 cylinder is over 200hp. It has 2 tone color selections which makes it stands out more on the road in my opinion. Techwise, this one wins, but the 4 cylinder xse, panaramic sunroof, blindspot monitor, 2 tone color comes in @ 30k. This is 5k extra.

Nice review for the 2020 Sonata. Love all the tech features at an affordable cost. Love the panoramic sunroof and the turn signal cameras. Wondering if the park assist would allow it to park in a one car garage or the sensors would stop it due to tightness. Overall, Hyundai stepped up their game with style and functionality and is now a competitor with it's rivals.
