This is the perfect midsize suv by far. Very easy to get in and out, plenty space for just about everything. Techwise, is spot on just what I want and not overly complicated to mess with. The entire interior layout is the holy grail of no compromise beautifully laid out in the proper location. The exterior looks sexy from every angle with none of that funky fake crap that just never look right. Very friendly DIY to work on period. No fuss, no headache. Just boom boom all done.

My wife just bought the 2021 RS version with a quite a few options. Very good daily family SUV that not only looks good, is comfortable, but also has a ton of space inside the vehicle for my daughters martial arts weapons and about 6000 Twinkies. Keep the reviews coming. Great job as always...

A solid overview of the Traverse, terrific info on the current model! We just bought a loaded Chevy Traverse Redline Edition 2 weeks ago & love it, a great ride with all the best safety tech & the 360 degree camera system & rear view mirror, a Bose sound system, a comfy roomy SUV with all wheel drive & great styling! Our Premiere model has the heated & ventilated seats, power & heated steering wheel, lane assist & it maintains the speed of freeway traffic, the Redline has all gloss Black lower trim, all chrome is Blacked out including 20 inch wheels with Red stripes, a much sportier model with every option available. We got $10,500 off the $51,500 sticker price, a smoking deal!

Don't get the newer models. They're not worth the headache down the line. The peppy little 4 banger turbo engine is an insult to the midsize suv. The V6 is the proper size motor for this crossover suv. The price they want for these newer traverse model is ridiculously outrageous. I'm just NOT a huge fan of boxy rectangle vehicles, and that little peppy motor was a huge letdown by GM. In terms of maintenance on these newer model traverses, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. There's literally no room to work on without tearing all these other clutters out of the way for one thing.

You should’ve done the redline edition of the traverse! It looks way more sporty and better than this body style. I was really hoping for the redesign in 2020. It’s sad they pushed it back because they wanted to get the new Tahoes and Yukons out. They look good tho!

I love the storage and flexibility in terms of the 3rd row compared to something like the Sorento that would make you eat your knees in that third row. I do agree, definitely needs a redesign however not a big GM fan. Hope you can get your hands on a Rivian R1S to review as well as the new Grand Cherokee and Grand Wagoneer once available for sale. Apart from the Rivian R1S and the Tesla Cyber Truck, the Grand Wagoneer is definitely up there in terms of tech. Keep it up Joe, love the videos no matter the manufacturer!

I like the outside design, but the infotainment and center cluster need a redesign, needs wireless Apple and Android CarPlay and a bigger LCD or full LCD for instrument cluster. Less hard plastic as well.

Buick Enclave is the Traverse with a nicer interior. Pricing is similar with incentives. Bought an Enclave last year and love it! Biggest crossover SUVs on market....makes all competitor crossover suvs look and feel small. Amazing how small they drive too.

We have a 2020. Rides smooth and plenty of room about the only positive I can say. Indicator blinks service AWD system. Service emergency brakes. Recall spurrs in the gas line that restricts the amount of fuel flow to the motor. All this with less than 25k. This is the last GM product for me.

The advantage of the space is real. I moved some bug objects with Traverse, and sometimes, they fit the trunk of the traverse with third raw down perfectly, meaning any SUV that is smaller than traverse in trunk space son't be able to fit it unless have second row down.

I’m looking at 3-row SUVs right now; my family has generally leaned GM, but I’m open to evaluating everything to find the right fit for me. If I go down this path, I’ll pick the Buick Enclave instead; it has the same engine and interior space, but it’s more comfortable and stylish IMO, and loading up the Chevy tends to close the price gap quite a bit. I’m also currently digging the Cadillac XT6 (great lease deals for a premium brand right now), Mazda CX-9 (great-looking inside and out), Ford Explorer ST (a blast to drive), Acura MDX (the reliable choice, with great deals to be had on the outgoing version), and the Palisade/Telluride twins (but damn are they hard to pin down right now).

I wish you could’ve gotten your hands on a fully loaded traverse, but another great video like always! I like Chevy but I’m really not sure what all you are getting for $46k.. my mom’s car has everything this has plus more and was $35k brand new. Yeah it’s bigger (as hers is a car and this is a SUV) and has a v6 versus a 4-cylinder, but I really don’t think that’s $11k more. Can’t wait for the redesign though!

I’ve loved my 2012 and I’ve been looking at the 2921s until I just had to sink more money into my 2012 with less than 100k miles. Passing on the Traverse next time around and going for a Toyota Highlander. Not as sexy as a Traverse but more reliable.

It would a a great vehicle. But every single year in this traverse has a problem with the traction control or stabilitrak light coming on and you have to pull over on the side of the road to turn the car off for 15sec and then you can go again. Just look into the problems people have had and the dealers cant seem to figure this out.
