I have driven full size Dodge Ram 3500's for years, now is the time for me to change. I have become interested in the GMC Canyon AT4 and have watched a number of reviews, your review Lauren is one of the best, clear, succinct, yet thorough and honest. A good friend has the Colorado Diesel but is on his 3rd engine within the first 3 years...I love diesel, but this has put me off the Chevrolet Colorado. Thanks again Lauren.

Thanks - much appreciated! The Yukon Denali is impressive as well

YT has so many young and attractive women rating cars Today. But NONE of them have your ASE qualifications or expertise. So I only watch you. You always know what you're talking about, Lauren. I filled you in in the ford Ranger off road engine. Upgrade from fomoco once. But you have shown ME A LOT more. I appreciate that about you.

Great review 👍. I like the Canyon and the Colorado. Both are nice midsize choices

It needs a diesel as a work truck
@bobdavis33573 жыл бұрын
@@CarCoachReports I think that the 4 banger Diesel that GM builds isn't a good motor at all. I would buy a ford for that application. Or put the I6 Diesel into this little truck. THEN GM can talk to me. But there's no better work rig than a Ford, IMO.
@bobdavis33573 жыл бұрын
@@CarCoachReports Agreed. But a straight six Diesel. However, Ford is a better work rig in some aspects,y being a Chevy guy and all. The 3.6 lacks the torque of the D4.

@@bobdavis3357 i have an at4 and the 308hp engine hasn't let me down, especially in this current snurricane. Whay do you need more torque for? Work sites? Which makes me wonder why you don't get a full size if you need more torque.

I have the 2018 Colorado LT extended cab which means no leather seats. You are so right about that Lauren! I made a few long trips and tried to swap out the seats but GM made that impossible. I just use it to go to work and pick up stuff at the big box store. Take stuff to the landfill, etc. For long trips I use the Honda Passport Elite, I can drive forever in that SUV.

Do you think there will be a Sunroof in the 2022 . So would you buy this over the 2021 Ford Ranger . I've chatted before with you and it's really nice that you reply people back, some people want . Thank you, Brad.

less than competitors? back seats can only think of the ridge line having a bigger back seat . box size ridge line might have a bigger one but i believe for a crew cab the gmc/chev is the only one you can get in a long box. The ford ranger and the Tacoma are smaller trucks than the gmc/chev .

My only 2 or 3 complaints is the size like why are these trucks cost more then an 5 seater suv which are smaller then an suv like my complaints are 1. Midsize Trucks should be as wide as an suv not smaller. 2. Leg space I'm pretty sure a car has more leg space then this truck it's perfect for ppl who sit in back that are 5ft any taller then got an issue so ya lack of back passenger leg space. 3.dont know if I missed this detail but I know honda ridgeline has this option but automatic back window open button so no need to manually do it yourself or back passenger if any to do it

It's ridiculous that you try to compare this vehicle to the ZR2 when it is the exact mechanical replica of the Z71. You aren't the first or only person to do this so I am comfortably sure GMC has limited what you are aloud to say about the vehicle they lent you for free. If true, this means you can't be taken at your word as an independent researcher.
