If you buy the Hatchback, it is like getting an SUV that gets 50 mpg. Only the RAV4 Prime gets you that much, and it is double the price of the Civic Hybrid.

wait times on Priuses or any Toyota are really bad (around 12 months for the Prius Prime where I live). Honda isn't nearly as bad and you can get them almost immediately at some dealers.

@ I like the way it looks. I prefer the user interface of the Civic. Haven’t driven one yet but from every comparison review I’ve seen, the Civic is the better driving vehicle. And I just happen to like Hondas in general a smidge more than I like the Toyota counterparts. Bottom line: personal preference.

2025 Civic released today in Australia. 2 models. The base model is $49,990. Honda and Nissan will merge. $50K for a Civic is a joke. Honda has lost it. They sold 1000 Civics in 2024 compared to 22,000 Toyota Corollas.

That's a hybrid battery cooling fan duct. The HVAC for the rear seats only come from the floor under the front seats.

Yes they give you paddle shifters to adjust how much regen you want as well. You can turn it off entirely but imho honda regen works really good, you dont even notice when the regen stops and the brakes kick in

Toyota hybrids has reliability and Honda not so much - clarity hybrid was a disaster. And Honda is charging same or higher price than Prius .
