Most really good sandwich shops you will be paying $15 for a large sandwich, if not more. Jersey Mike's, FireHouse Subs are around the same price. Then you have Capriotti's, you could be spending up to $20 for one of their elite sandwiches. Unless you go to Port if Subs or Subway, expect those prices. Unless you get a small or medium sandwich.

Chicken parm is supposed to be mushy. That's the whole thing. All the flavors mashed together. Daves Hot Chicken next. Order 1 slider 1 tender combo meal. Get the honey packs and extra sauce pack to put on top of your chicken for each bite. 😋

We got great Armenian kebob places and Persian restaurants. I happen to like Shaherzad in Westwood, but I heard Flame and Shamshiri are really good too. They have amazing stews and kebabs. In the Valley, Id recommend Tonir(burbank near airport) , Raffis place(glendale a bit spendier) ands heard good things about Nersus Vanak. Our Sushi is second to none. For among the best in LA is Chiba in North Hollywood. Not cheap. but less than the price of places in beverly hills or santa monica for the quality. Sushi By Jin in North Hollywood is another favorite its the best All you can eat sushi in the area. For like 40 bucks you can get a great selection of food. Anajak Thai in sherman oaks is considered the greatest restaurant in LA. I havent been there, but the dishes are really unique and good. Good luck being able to get there. But figured Id recommend since you are here. Budonoki in Virgil Village is an amazing Japanese Izakaya with amazing small plates and great drinks. I highly recommend that place as well if you can find parking.

I love sandwiches and this is the most overrated sandwich I've ever had. The filling is fine and good but the bread... The best thing I can say about the bread is that the extra chewy crust probably burns all the calories you're consuming in the sandwich.
