I used to buy the expensive stuff which was really good. But... having a white car, I will never get the level of gloss other colours will get so I went cheaper some time ago. Never looked back, ok, I have to use it a bit more often but it’s still way cheaper and frankly, looks just as good.

I live in Brazil and here Vonixx products are the most expensive on the national market, but without a doubt it is the best brand, and it is very affordable for us Brazilians. A wide range of Shampoos, heavy decontaminants, plastic protectors, all of the highest quality. The 3-in-1 blend polish, Blend paste wax and Native spray are the company's flagship products, without a doubt they are on par with the best brands in the world.

Bought a tub of this for £2 before Christmas from. Home bargains, hadn't had a chance to use and have other high end polishes such as meguiar's and autoglym, having applied all over the body panels, found it just as easy but for the money it's a no brainer even given the more repeated application

Happy New Year I hope you had a good one and the snow was not to much of an inconvenience. That product is not a wax in my humble opinion and I am a bit of a connoisseur of fine waxes. I agree that the bucket and sponge brigade would find this easy to use and the price will appeal especially to Aberdonians (Not that they are tight or anything). It had decent water behaviour and I presume it could be layered to give greater longevity. I look forward to your content in 2023 if you don't block me for the cheek. With regards to the comment on are we being mad to pay over £25 for a wax. If we know the source i.e. country of origin and the cost of the wax and oils raw materials then it is in my opinion worth it if the end result is to our satisfaction.

Amazed at how well this performed for the price, though as you said, Armourall has a good reputation for decent products (I love their aerosol alloy protection spray👌🏻) Maybe also an ideal item for someone just getting into detailing, and putting together a starter kit of products, to learn with, and not worry about wasting/wrongly applying an expensive product? Brilliant video as always 👌🏻

Morning Specky, I'll say one word Vonixx - I love it! Only ever seen you [now] and Paul down south explore this brand in the UK. I'm a bit of a bead freak, so bad that I HATE beads that roll off a bonnet and leave a line of dots or morse code. I call it tail breakout. I'll go a bit anal now; If you think of a formed bead [and with Vonixx you get 1/2 marbles perfectly circular], when it starts to roll you form a tearshape / pear shape with the leading edge and a tail that elongates, that rolls travels a path, with most the tail stretches out and breaks off leaving your line of dots, with Vonixx it stretches but the head of the bead pulls it along to the point that the lead of the beads speed actually starts to retract the tail without it braking out and leaving a dry travelled path. [rant over] - Don't know what mix Paulo puts in it whether it be the Blend waxes or the new spray sealants, but the beading / water behaviour is insane. I go further, the beads are like mercury globules on speed! Ste. [could do with you, Paul or Heather getting a box full to explore / showcase the range!]
@SpeckyMcSporran Жыл бұрын
If you look back through my channel I tested quite a few products from Vonixx. They're definitely high quality waxes that I don't really want to part with. As for the geeky bit I absolutely love it, "tail breakout" is such a good description! Love it!

I have a large collection of waxes and I would say your probably right Lee we are stupid to keep paying boutique prices for wax We are attracted by the latest detailing hype when the reality is most paste waxes look the same on a panel next to each other and last a similar amount of time real world on a car not many paste waxes get past three months and still look like you wouldent want to re apply wax again Hate to say it because I like waxes but I think the cheap spray sealants have them beat in all but the therapeutic application of a paste wax
