I prefer Indian Stripe. It is in the same Cherokee “family” as the Cherokee Purple, Chocolate and Green. But Indian Stripe is more productive than Purple in my garden.

I buy a tomato from a company called Pruden’s purple! To me, this is absolutely the best tomato flavor, the best tomato hardiness, and the best tomato generally, I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been growing this tomato for a few years now I would imagine it’s very similar to the Cherokee purple.
