The ZL1 name has been around since 1969, but Chevrolet has brought it back in a big way. Under the hood is a 6.2L supercharged v8 pumping out 650HP & mated to a slick shifting 10-speed automatic transmission. One of the key features that makes it perform so well is the specifically tuned magnetic-ride suspension. The ZL1 has unique exterior and interior touches to separate it from the pack. I don't miss changing the front electronic shock at $1000 each hahaha and all the issues I had with the car. The last issue I had was a defective high preasure fuel pump resulting having full of fuel in my oil. Jahaha car was fun, but never had so many issues with any car in my life. I will never buy a chevrolet again for sure

Here in Australia we were lucky to get only 300 ZL1s of which I bought 1 in the silver... I absolutely love the car and am sure they will be highly collectable. Mine is a 6 speed manual which is brilliant to drive... Thanks America for all those bald Eagles!!!

I want one real bad but they will have to put AWD on these.they put an AWD on this car and it will be a supercar beater in all aspects.problem is these cars can not put the power down in a lot of situations--like at the drag strip.I have an AWD Stinger and ran very close to the times of this and hellcats in the street tire division.The corvettes though seem to pbe able to put the power down--i do not know why they do not put the same computer on these--unless it is just the fact the vette has bigger stickier back tires.On drag tires these will run in the 10s==on street tires it can be 12 to 13 seconds--and RWD is unsafe for a lot of drivers.

@@khronin it's because the weight is in the back of the new vette, the engine is by the rear axle. Put 500lbs in the trunk of the zl1 and I bet it would also put the power down a lot easier lol.

This car will tear the streets up its a beautiful sports car especially in that white wish Pontiac was still around see how version of Trans AM would love like today. What a car! A summit white ZL1 is going to hopefully be mine within the next decade or so. Very rare to have a car of this nature do all of the things that an enthusiasts wants not just well, but EXCEPTIONALLY well. Truly no other car like it in that price range. My 2018 2SS Hot Wheels Edition will do just fine for now I guess... 😁

I would LOVE to own one of these beasts over here in germany but honest to god i cant afford them in my current situation. Had a 2020 sold it made money on it now i ordered a 2022.The best muscle car. It does everything well and has the best seats . I had a c6 Zr1 , a c6 Z06 and a supercharged c6 Grand port and the Zl1 is the better car over all of them. Great chassis .

I love the ZL1. It’s a monster for sure and I almost bought one. However, with gas at now over $7.00 per gallon and no end in sight… I’m glad my wife talked me down off that ledge. After the 6 months of draining our country’s oil reserves ends, analysts predict gas to keep Climbing and in CA reach a Mind bending $10 per gallon! Insanity! That coupled with 13 MPG real world returns from the ZL1 are the quickest way to bankruptcy…

@Thomas kasap I mean, A ZL1 is as fast as a regular hellcat, plus other things on top of that.. Redeye is good if wanting to specifically go fast on straights. But when it comes down to the best bang for your buck and to the price to performance ratio, camaro ZL1 has that all day long. You cant beat it. Hellcats are cool in their own ways though! Both great cars to say the least.
