My late beloved husband hit ALL TEN, imperfectly, much like imperfect me. God I miss him. But a man who avoids all crying? He feels like a BOMB waiting to go off. Crying relieves tension, releases oxytocin, is calming, for all people.

Thank you so much for clarifying this attachment. You are the only guy's I've found that have truly explained this. Keep up the great information✌️❤️

Number one I dated a divorced guy who had been married 13 years. He was one of the most emotionally immature people I’ve come across. His ex wife abused and walked all over him and he hadn’t even noticed the whole time. Unfortunately length of a relationship doesn’t mean anything. He also spoke positively saying ‘we grew apart’ only for days later when she was blowing up his phone and turning up where I was that she cheated on him multiple times and had left him. He also appeared very calm and not emotional I mistook this for him being securely attached when actually he had spent a lifetime repressing what he felt therefore he literally wasn’t feeling or able to express himself. He didn’t have any friends at all this should have been a big sign. Oh and he said they never had any fights 😅 Anyone dated a divorced guy be sure to ask why they divorced and more importantly the lessons they learnt about themselves from it.

My sweet man and I totally trust each other in every way!!! We also think that saying I'M SORRY and FORGIVENESS are extremely important. This relationship I have with him is the first time both of us have felt extremely safe with each other!!! I do let him know where and when I'm going out, but not because he "demands" it but because it lets him know how important he is to me!!! Relationships are not easy, but they are BEAUTIFUL with the right person!!! We have both kissed a lot of frogs 🐸 along the way... TRUE LOVE IS WORTH THE WAIT!!!!

According to your structure I have failed miserably! I give a potential partner written tests like what is your 'attachment style'. Lol😂 no one has ever refused to take one. At least they have information about themselves. It's never been a deal-breaker. You guys are great! Thank you for the pointers.

DR. you are mixing Secure Attachment with "emotional stability" "emotional intelligence" and confidence please stay true to the concept it has nothing to do with the other personality traits or concepts. Secure attachment has to do with the ability to form close committed relationships.

Im old enough to be your mother..of course that being said I cant totally agree especially the one you did on dating sites they are a joke and scary..but that being said I love this one and you 2 are so much fun I was having a bad day today as was married to a Narcissistic Abuser for 30 yrs and they destroy you and he is still trying after 2 yrs of BS...but you 2 are so so entertaining and educational..I have reunited with a "friend" from 50 yrs ago he has been my healing Angel and of course I needed to hear all of this as Im hoping it grows into more but time will tell ...Im very needy wanting to find someone to love me as Im a good person and its hard to understand why the good pick the bad..keep educating all and again thank you❤❤

The “Less cheating” statement mentioned in the beginning should be changed to “No cheating “. Who wants “less cheating”? One wants “no cheating “. 👍
@LoveStrategiesАй бұрын
Agreed - cheating is toxic to any relationship. Hands down. Dealbreaker

yeah but how often is the guy crying? for something big, fine but crying constantly then he's feminine or a manchild, so no you can't have a cool calm and collected guy AND a guy who cries and expresses his emotions every time...these 2 dont go together if he cries for something big (death of a parent, house burnt, lost a million $) and not constantly then ok

would you say it’s ok to get annoyed w bad drivers…but to get hostile and angry is a red flag !!?
@KA-ux9qbАй бұрын
Bad, aggressive driving is actually a sign of narcissism per Dr. Ramani. One of her books is titled "Don't You Know Who I Am".
