I had a mental breakdown due to severe work stress eight years ago. I wasn’t sleeping and my doctor prescribed an antidepressant and it made it worse. Way worse! After not sleeping for three weeks I started hallucinating. Then they diagnosed me with bipolar at 56 years old and said I would have to take bipolar medication for the rest of my life. After quitting the stressful job, and then getting a better job a year later, I got much better. I weaned myself off the meds, and am back to normal. I didn’t have bipolar, just severe stress. This and subsequent experiences have opened my eyes to the corrupt, inept medical system.

I’m so sorry about your breakdown. I don’t want to get into details, but I had a similar situation from working 60-70 hour weeks. Dx with major depression and tried tons of meds. It’s not depression. I was/am normal! I watched a documentary a couple weeks ago called “Medicating Normal.” I swear I got all ticked off again, lol!

I remember the big bipolar disorder diagnosing craze of the late 1990’s and 2000’s. It came into fashion after the ADHD diagnosing craze started getting tired. Of course, today we are experiencing new, fashionable diagnosing fads for disorders that everyone seems to have. But, yeah…. I was in my early twenties and had met with this psychiatrist for the first time in my life, for around 5 - 10 minutes. He asked me and my mom a couple questions, and I left that day with a brand new diagnosis and about three different medications. No assessment surveys or questionnaires, no measurement tools (diagnostic tools) no bloodwork, no thyroid check, no nutrition panel, no background and psychological history, no questions about current environment (work, relationship, or housing related)…. Just a li’l ten minute diagnosis that “proved” to my narcissistic mother & brother that I was indeed a loser. 😉 Fastfoward to today and I am working on, and very soon will be a licensed professional, who can assess, diagnose, and treat. But I have little faith in the industry now, I feel it is exploitive and just another way to commoditize and exploit people’s ailments, and capitalize on mental health needs.

More and more people end up learning this the hard way, and as a result they no longer turn to this inept medical system for the assistance they need. The same thing happened to me with acid blocking medications and my gut microbiome.

One of the first things that I’ve noticed when I had moved to America from South Korea when I was a small child was just the amount of prescription medicines that elderly people were taking. Because back in Korea almost none of the elderly people were living like this and they were still running and walking around the neighborhood at age 80 or even 90 while most elderly people in America was walking with a cane or dead at age 90. The food we eat is poisoned and this includes fruits and vegetables because they come from foreign countries and who knows what pesticides are used. The supermarkets are selling mostly processed foods which is dead, laden with chemicals and even the milk is full of anti biotics, steroids, and mucus. The whole industry is greared to slowly make you sick and keep you sicker especially if you get put on prescription medicines.

I spent 20 years of my life as a paramedic in the🇬🇧. I have come to the conclusion that the food and health systems are definitely working together to make you ill, it’s an evil cabal that’s preying on peoples weaknesses. I’m 61 and eat a proper human diet, I’m off all meds and I have become as fit as I was in my 20s-30s. If you are thinking about getting fit and turning your life around then try carnivore, you can see what you’re eating. It’s absolutely amazing. Thank you for spreading the word of truth.

It isn't that providers don't take insurance, it is that insurance companies don't cover functional medicine...there is no money in it for the insurance company if you heal yourself through food and/or supplements. Another aspect I'd like to add is also that many patients will only seek the level/type of "care" that is authorized by their insurance, meaning that the power that high healthcare costs has in shaping the patient's choice of doctor is apparent... A patient may not opt for a route of care that could be better simply because of their insurance not approving it, and vice versa if their insurance approves a risky healthcare modality (such as chiropractic) it can coax the patient into accepting that level of care since their insurance approved to pay for it

The healthcare system is corrupted. Our health insurance should be able to cover us to see a functional doctor. Hope Dr. Casey and Calley Means would be able to do something to fix this corruption. I'm sure most of the radiologists and surgeons lied about patients' medical results. Most of the radiologists and surgeons wanted to trick me into doing surgery. Half of the radiologists and one surgeon said I don't need surgery, and one radiologist said she did not see anything wrong with all my medical results. There got to be a group of doctors from certain hospitals lied about patients' medical results to trick them into doing surgery for no reason to get $ from the health insurance companies.

"Medical health", as opposed to natural health, has become a very lucrative business in the world, especially in America. Eradicating sicknesses and diseases by curing or healing them will definitely bankrupt it. Thus, systematic sickness and disease introduction and patient maintenance among the population is a must for its continued survival and prosperity.

While I’m not a huge fan of the pharmaceutical industry, we all need them at some point or another. Do you want anesthesia for surgery? Ok, that’s what the pharmaceutical industry has for you. Would you like a stent put in to expand your clogged arteries? Thank Big Pharma for that. Want cancer protocols when you’re diagnosed? Ask Pig Pharma. Would you like some anti anxiety or antidepressants meds? Or how bout pain meds after surgery? If you’re tired of being a consumer of meds, say no to them when your doctor starts to write out a script. That’ll hit Big Pharma hard huh Venida? And, the pharmaceutical industry is thee most lobbied industry in America. Lobbying is a legal form of bribery. So they reign supreme here.

I was given Antidepressants....HAD TO PURCHASE sadly the law here states this ..I DO KOT TAKE THEM...Side effects....oh suicidal thoughts...Call your Dr😮 Hallucinations, sleepwalking...Feeling tired...Feeling sick...Feeling ...feeling...What on earth would posees anyone to want to put chemicals into the body....Went not needed... Clogged arteries Sadly my Mom had 2 stents fitted...She wished now she had known about Dr John Bergman and Dr Josh Axe...oh I fell down stairs last week...Small fracture on my right foot.. Prescribed meds to stop blood clots, no injections...given tablets..purchased but didn't take any...I found the number 1 for natural blood thinners is Turmeric, Ginger, Garlic... Proanthenols.. Anyway pain killers I am taking also natural .. So yes a little Anaesthetic...When needing certain operations... But not for daily life... In an emergency but you can help yourself with most sickness As for Cancer...Don't even go there.... Bioresonance... Gershwin diet... Check out Ty and Charlene Bollinger Truth about cancer... Wouldn't ask for any "conventional meds" rather die... Than poison myself We were not created to get sick and die ... Thankfully sickness and death will come to an end...Humans will return to full vigor and health... I do trust in my Creator.. Creator of all things heaven and Earth... Sadly at present we all get sick and die but this is not normal... Being healthy being vibrant and being happy.. Wishing everyone best.

And not only that, I was having severe chest pain in my left bronchial tubes, like I was coming down with bronchitis or pneumonia - it was so painful - saw my dr, she listens to my chest and says I can’t hear anything so I don’t know what to give you - I ended up in the hospital barely able to breathe, they drained 1000 ml of fluid off from around my left lung - that whole mess thru my heart into an irregular heart beat and they had to then put the paddles to me and shock my heart back into rhythm

My 13 yo son has mitochondrial dysfunction according to his Nutreval blood test we did last August. It indicated he was very low in glutathione, so he has been taking a supplement since. His skin has improved, but it still flares up easily. He has asthma, allergies, food allergies & eczema that we have been trying to heal naturally for 4 years. Been working on healing the gut. He has done 2 tiny health gut tests and only has 52% beneficial bacteria in his gut. Could have improved more by now. He was breastfed 15 months, fed an organic diet from the start, & has always been a very active kid (loves soccer, basketball, cross country, & track). I truly believe all of the medical interventions at his “well checks” caused him to get worse and worse (we stopped those at age 6). He mostly eats pasture raised chicken, grassfed beef and pasture raised lamb, veggies & fruits (only berries, pears, apples). I wish helping him wouldn’t take so long, but I will do everything I can to get him healed.

My father my oldest brother my mother-in-law and my late husband were all tragic victims of mishaps,"complications" and malpractice. My oldest brother especially was a victim of malpractice where they put in a pancreas stint by two medical students who did it incorrectly and then called it cancer and let him waste away on fentanyl. They neglected to feed or give him IV. And we watched him slowly die for 41 days.

Doctors definitely don't know what they're doing anymore. Or, at least, they aren't taught what they need to be taught. Since January I've had issues with my stomach and intestines. Food will sit in my stomach for 12-24 hours, and I'll either throw up the undigested pieces or I'll feel the sphincter in my stomach release after several hours of bloating and discomfort and drain into my intestines. My bowel movements are almost all liquid or semi-liquid. I have lost so much weight I look like skin draped over a skeleton. I weigh less than I did in high school. I have no hunger, no desire to eat and eating most foods causes pain, discomfort or vomiting. I'm vomiting 1-5 times a day. Every doctor I've been to has pawned me off to someone else. "I don't know what's wrong with you" or "that's beyond my scope" or they will only listen partly to what you say and ignore the rest. Then you wait 1-4 months to see another specialist. It's weird because most of them don't want to do any testing now, when before it was that they wanted to do excessive testing. I am literally starving on less than 600 calories a day and no one feels any sort of urgency or concern. I feel like I live in weird alternative universe where doctors don't know anything and won't do anything. I do not trust them, especially ER doctors and nurses.

I’m sorry you’re going through this.. I don’t trust them either. I almost had an unwanted pregnancy because my doctor prescribed me a migraine pill that interacts with birth control and makes it less effective. She prescribed the birth control too so there’s really no excuse for it. So I got a new doctor. My main thing is needing medication for my migraines. This new doctor had me doing all kinds of testing and imaging for my thyroid and had me worried sick. (The ultrasound was normal btw) She wanted me to see a specialist and tried to pick one out for me. I said no and I ended up seeing a specialist I wanted to see. Long story short, this endocrinologist told me I had nothing wrong with my thyroid and the reason for one of my thyroid levels to be elevated was because of the birth control pill that I’m taking.. this incompetent doctor also had me taking a supplement for no reason that also caused me to become very sick. You have to be careful with holistic doctors too.

I've also listened some to this channel on yt called "Kick it Naturally" that seems to focus mainly on the types of issues you talk about. From what i've heard from that, it sounds like part of your problem could have to do with bile production or movement. They offer a whole course on digestion. Anyway, i would try to find a holistic Dr. that specializes in gut health. Best wishes!
