Is the Hercules STREAM 200 XLR the BEST Streaming Mixer Now?

GoXLR can power some fairly hefty headphones - have you tried this device with a headset with 150+ ohm?

I read the Game radar review and they are complaining about not having the option to send either the audience or personal mix to your connected screen with speakers or other speakers. Can you confirm if this is true? I have a tv which I use as a speaker while not being live and when I'm doing basic stuff. I do need the option to get the output of the Hercules digitally to my speakers, not by using the aux out in the back of the device!

You can listen to the mic directly by plugging your headphones directly into the interface, so yes.

Give me apologize about the silly question but is this product a soundcard too? Beacsue I plan to buy one otherwise my PC (motherborad) has a really basic soundcard.

Cool and interesting device I do think it would serve very well if you’re limited in space as both an interface and limited stream/audio controller I hope there’s more integration for music production/djs since Hercules is already in that space

Right. The first marketing material I saw for it made it look like it was a DJ device, but they’re obviously trying to pry into the streamer/creator space. I’ve been in talks with their team, and am hopeful for some more features in the future. Thanks for watching!

It could work well with 2 PCs by connecting the line out of your 2nd pc to the line in of this. And if you need to send audio back to the second PC you can do that also (in game chat, etc). Might need a ground loop isolator to get rid of hum depending on your setup.

Just ordered mine to replace a GoXLR. Does this device offer real time monitoring of the mic in the headphones? Sadly didn’t dee that setting in the settings menus.

I’m not sure the exact value, but with the included amplifier, it had no trouble with my dynamic mics. It even drove them without the inline amp.

@ There is a fix 20dB amplifier + 24dB adjustable Gain that can be enough for most of the Dynamic Microphone, but for a Shure SM7B, it is recommended to use the provided external pre-amp that add 24dB.

@jollypoker sure. By polished, I mainly mean their software is used by all of their audio equipment (wave usb mics, etc). So I’m sure the update schedule and reliability are pretty safe. Hercules is a little new to this space. So far, the basic features are there, but they could use a nice audio matrix and better sub-mix options.
