I think alot of guys lost interest in where hoonigan was heading and wanted to do their own stuff cuz Vin even said the craziness just ain't apart of hoonigan anymore like what DDE is doing now he wants to keep with it! So yes I don't blame them moving on either specially if you lost interest! People miss the old content the fun! Not saying some might not find this fun It's boring plus Hoonigan had kept people in the dark about stuff I'm sure there are reasons why but sucks for the fans

For USDM cars, the AP2 actually makes 10-15 more HP than the AP1 across most of the rev range, as confirmed many times on the same dyno. Honda started using a different HP measurement standard when the AP2 was introduced so its stated HP is not apples to apples.
@F0BBYLEE7 ай бұрын
ALBO doesn't know wtf he's talking about.. just like majority of the ap1 community, they think that the higher rev's give them the extra advantage. Just an FYI.. I can teach "English" in Japan if I wanted to.. ROFL!

Man I love the Japan content that’s been posted these past few days. I know everyone’s been saying they’re tired of the TvT stuff and here is some content that’s feels like a genuine breath of fresh air. But what do I see? I see these videos trail behind in views compared to TvT videos uploaded before AND after this. It’s frustrating to see y’all put some quality content out and not see it rake in the same numbers of the content all the naysayers are saying they’re tired of. I can’t help but feel that all these folks who’re saying Hoonigan is dying (or died) aren’t giving you boys a fighting chance when this series is clearly showing that you are still dedicated to providing interesting car culture content. I may not watch all your stuff nowadays, but know that I still support you guys nonetheless. ✊

No, we loved to see how Hert broke someone's car, how Scotto buys another broken car that he will never repair, how Suppy and Brad built something rad, how Kikawa got mocked in every possible moment, Ron, Vin, and all the OG's that I didn't mention. How many many people got scumbaged into trashing their belongings in the backyard, and the list goes on and on. And of course how all of those people helped Ken make amazing movies!

Great to see Albo on Hoonigan! Such a beautiful build. Small note, the AP1 makes more horsepower than the AP2 only paper ;) . SAE changed the standard of horsepower in 2005. Right during production years of the S2000, so when you compare a well running AP1 vs AP2 on a dynometer, the AP2 will make more whp and wtq.
@amduser869 ай бұрын
expects in europe, where the ap2 engine is the same 2l .... p.s. f20c are not really bulletproof. they brake on the autobahn and honestly a prefer a domestic bmw. just works, once you ignore the oem service intervals. there is a reason why most people here in germany drive bmw's on the track.

I'll have had mine for 15yrs next month, it's definitely a forever car. I've just spent the last year getting it track ready, mostly stripped interior with a half cage, no passenger seat, no AC, I've pulled well over 100kgs out of it over the years, still got way more I wanna do to it! People who don't get them just aren't used to a car that doesn't have torque, which I get, torque makes things more streetable. But it's when you use an s2k for what it's made for, that you'll truly appreciate it.
